  1. I have used a Voltas OBDeleven plug on mine and it plugs in with no problem other that you have to it by bending or opening the door and kneeling down to plug it in (Easiest way)
  2. I had trouble with the reception on my 2016 L&K DAB, as it was still under warranty I took it into my local dealer and they said it needed a software upgrade which they did, works fine now
  3. 2 weeks ago my Sat Nav came up with the message "Please insert a data medium with valid navigation data" this was the first time I had need to use the Sat Nav since last year. I rang my local dealer DM Keith's in Leeds and was told that I could download the SD card information free from the Skoda Update site, I also wanted some more small jobs done as the car is still under warranty so booked the car in for that work. I tried to download the new maps to my SD card which took ages and I still got the same message when the card was inserted in the Sat Nav, took me ages to work out that you need to download the info to your computer first and then unpack it to the SD card, this took about an hour. Still got the same message so when I took the car in to the garage I told the receptionist that my Sat Nav still wasn't working, I left the car with them to sort out, I rang them about 3pm to see if my car was ready for collection and was told that the SD card worked in other cars Sat Nav's but not mine, they had contacted the technical department in Milton Keynes for assistance, she said I could collect the car as the other work had been done and they would contact me when they had an answer from Skoda. I got my son to take me to the garage and got there about 5pm, walked in and the receptionist handed me my keys and said the Sat Nav was now working, Skoda had said that it needed a software update which they did and this solved the problem. I needed to use the Sat Nav on Thursday and it wouldn't allow me to put the full postcode in, the last digit was Q and this was greyed out on the display, I had a rough idea where I needed to go and managed to get there. Yesterday I tried to put another destination in for a journey tomorrow and after a bit of playing around with the display it came up with another smaller screen which allowed me to enter the full postcode, so it looks like the software upgrade has made some changes to the unit. So if anyone see's a Jungle Green L&K wandering around Doncaster tomorrow you know it still isn't working (Just joking)
  4. I sorted the downloading of the map updates, I was doing it wrong. Had the car into D M Keith's Leeds today and they said that the car needed a software update, everything (Touchwood) seems to be working OK
  5. I have just had 2 mods done to my 2016 Yeti, Changing the Speedo to show the digital one in the MFD and adding teardrop wipe. On Saturday I had need to use my Amundsen Sat Nav and all I got was a message on the display saying "Please insert a data medium with valid navigation data" I rang my local dealer this morning and they said they couldn't do anything, but the software could be downloaded from the Skoda Website, I have done this and it took about 4.5 hours, it then came up with an error message saying that there wasn't enough room on the SD card, when I looked at the SD card in Windows Explorer the was 1.75 GB unused & 13.5GB of files on the card, I tried the card in the Sat Nav but It still came up with the same error message. Anyone know if the Mods would upset the Sat Nav?, I will add I had to have a new aerial fitted 2/3 months ago as the Dab Radio wouldn't work, this was the first time I had tried to use the Sat Nav since the new aerial was fitted.
  6. I have tried to do this but you say near the top of the email that you will need someone with VCDS to change the country setting to Australia, I don't have VCDS only the OBDeleven dongle, I managed to change the country to Australia and in Settings it was already set to mpg (GB), mi but couldn't find the other settings you mention. My car by the way is a model year 2016 Thanks for your help anyway
  7. oodoom, yes please, someone else has helped me with the Speedo Staging which was easy (When you know how)
  8. Is there anyone in Leeds who can code my 2016 Yeti L&K to change the speed to show on the MFD and also for the Speedo & Rev Counter to do a sweep when the ignition is switched on (Staging I believe they call it)
  9. Has anyone used OBDeleven to change MDF to show MPH, enable Teardrop Wipe, Rear Lights to be on when ignition on (rear DRL's) or any other coding mods?
  10. Is it possible to do a reset of the Amundsen Sat Nav to remove all stored destinations?

    LEGO Yeti

Anyone know where I can buy a Lego Skoda Car, I've looked on eBay but they seem to only have the Yeti figure
  12. Thanks Oldtimer66, I've passed your info on to my prospective buyer Les
  13. I had one in fitted to my last Yeti and it doesn't show on the MFD Can I ask did you fit it yourself as I have mine for sale and someone has just asked me if they are easy to fit DIY?
  14. Picked up my Jungle Green L&K today, ordered week 30 so just 10 weeks from order to delivery.
