    Is the wiring not there already? When I take the covers off there is awire and plug there - assumed it was for fogs - am I wrong?

    Can the foglights simply be fitted and plugged in or do they need 'activating' by VCDS or whatever. The wife has decided she wants some!! Cheers

    Remove badges by warming with a hairdrier then pull a piece of thick cotton behind. Rub off residue and voila! Don't know about fogs. I know my octavia has wiring ready behind grill but still looking for info on whether they just plug in and go? - hence I saw your post - and the search goes on! good luck
