I wouldn't be surprised that monaghans in galway gave you such good treatment, seeing as they have lost every other dealership they had in the past, they can't afford to lose skoda aswell.

paint peeling off my spoiler now aswell, having small pockets bubble right across the entire surface, pretty shoddy from skoda if this is happening across a wide scale.

Anything up on the dash, is it diesel or petrol?

Bring it bk to the dealers, nothing else needs to be said on here if it's that new!

Silver is the best rs colour to go with black wheels IMO, compliments the car perfectly. the yellow one above wud go with either such a cool colour for the car!

In my vrs there is the knob where we twist to adjust the mirror angle either side! In the middle of the left and right setting there is the heater for the 2 mirrors! The thing never sits right in there and the mirrors are always fogged up or frozen then! In my old 06 fabia the mirrors would clear immediately and it would sit in the proper position! Does anybody else have this same problem??

My two front windows squeek like mad in hot days, I know I havta oil the motor, jst wonderin is it a big job or has anybody ever done it??? Cheers!

the battery in my 07 octavia went suddenly yesterday and i cant figure out why! never acted up before and then wouldn't start yesterday!! only thing i did was park it in the garage and open all of the windows to give it a bit of airing out! that would hardly be enough to kill the battery i would have thought! any feedback welcomed

The passenger and both back seat speakers aren't working in my rs? Dunno if anyone else has had this problem?

good brands include turtle wax, mcguires. i don't buy much of them tbh but i definately reccommend a spray to bring out a wet look for your tyres!! dirty tyres always let down a clean car! and a good karcher power washer too

I have a 07 vrs octavia and i have to replace the indicator bulb in the wing mirror on te driver side...just to be clear i have to take out the mirror and thats it coz someone told me i haveta take off the entire cap!! cheer ppl!

Guys quick question, i have a 07 vrs and it has the service light on from when i last serviced the car....ive tried the usual thing of using the speedomoter & starting the engine to get it off but it doesn seem to be workin? is there somthing im not doing? Cheers!

Well guys, just a quick question, i own a 2007 race blue diesal vrs, last sunday i got a warning light on the dash that indicated there was a problem w/ TCS & ESP, i brought the car into get the injectors changed yesterday because of the recall and got the car back today, i asked them could they have a look at the dash light to see what the ptoblem was and they came back to me and said that the abs/traction was gone and needed replacing ASAP.. basically the unit was shot!! it only has the standard brakes now! they quoted me saying it would cost anywhere around €1800 to get a new one installed! just wondering has anyone else had this kind of problem or if it is common in these cars. had the car now for 14months now... thanks
