  1. Haven't been on here in a while. Since my last update the only thing to have changes is a LCR front splitter. I will get some photos when she is clean. The garage also sorted the loss of power which turned out to be the MAF sensor, and it's been alright since then. Apart from the boost pipe popping of on the Cumbria Run at the weekend.
  2. Wow thats bloody shiney! Looks great
  3. Was a brilliant day, thanks for organising it. Nice to meet you all Had a flick through my pictures and they're not great, will upload some of the 'better' ones. Great video, wish the smoke was visible though haha!

  5. The car lost power again today, after running for around an hour, I had the cruise control on and the car started loosing power on a steep hill. Pulled over and switched Thr car off and it was back to normal. Again, no warning lights or and indication as to why.
  6. I'm in no rush, i would rather wait and I will have plenty of spare cash
  7. If you are considering a remap Matt, could get intouch with Dan and see if we can get a deal some where?
  8. This looks brilliant. Much perfer the standard wheels Good work!
  9. I had a go at fitting the tint film to the headlights: Looks really stealthy in the pictures but I made an awful job of applying it. It also looked brown in the sunlight, so it was ripped of the same day. Finally got out with the camera and got some better quallity pictures, im no pro mind:
  10. Cracking pictures, looks like I missed a good weekend. I would have came alone but didn't want to risk it with a dodgy window :(
  11. I stuck my passenger window closed as I had decided it doesn't want to stay closed anymore :(
  12. That is stunning mate. Looks like you have spent a lot of time and effort on her. Smoothed front bumper looks amazing
  13. That is stunning mate. Looks like you have spent a lot of time and effort on her. Smoothed front bumper looks amazing
  14. Looks very much like mine on the exterior Leather is lovely, should be standard in the vRS!
  15. That's alright then. It's just less than I first expected. Thanks for your help
  16. The tank was 43 litres on the Fiesta. Yeah, I fill up till it starts to cover my shoes haha
  17. I calculate them on an app on my phone, also do them as soon as I fill up. Pleased to hear that you are returning similar figures. I think I am just used to the Fiesta as that always would get 500 miles till the light, 600+ if it was all motorway.
  18. Hello there! I've now filled my vRS up a number of times and I can't seem to get any more than 460 miles till the fuel light coming on. Weather this is all motorway driving at 70mph for a full tank or it be mostly short town journeys. I'm returning between 48-52 mpg per tank. I just feel that it should be returning a little more. I always use Shell fuel, and have tried using additives such as red-ex. The car is totallly standard performance wise. Are these figures similar to what you're getting?
  19. Looks like aa very clean example! LCR splitters looks great, think I need to invest. Whats the ride like with the Coiloverss fitted?
  20. 1. 2001 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXi - Parents bought the car new, never skipped a beat in 7 years. I got it when I passed my test in 2008 with 35,000 miles and it would just randomly cut out. Had it 18 months and Vauxhall and various auto electricians couldn't fault it. Never really ventured out of town incase it did cut out. 2. 2005 Ford Fiesta Zetec S TDCi - Bought it at 4 years old with 58,000 miles. Day after getting it home it wouldn't start. The fuel pump had failed. 5 days later the fuel rail failed. Had a spring snap as I was hoovering the car out. When it rained it would put the car into limp mode. Turbo failed at 84,000 miles. The exhaust snapped on the M6 200 miles from home. Alternator failed. Fuel leak from one of the fuel rails. Injector seals had to be replaced. Clutch started slipping at 103,000 miles. I also got intouch with the Dealer which done the servicing before I owned the car and they replaced the AC Pump, Injectors and ECU. Safe to say the new owner shouldn't have any faults as there is only the Starter motor to replace! The annoying thing was, it was properly serviced and always looked after, just the fact it is a French unit. Still absoloutley love the car though! 3. 2001 Kia Shuma 1.6 SX - We bought this to take part in a banger rally across Europe. Paid £150 for it with 10 months MOT. Racked up 4,000 miles in 10 days, the car never missed a beat. Didn't use a drop of oil or overheat. It sat flat out on the Autobahn for 2 hours and that didn't phase it one bit. Was a shame to scrap it. 4. Skoda Fabia vRS - I had the car 3 weeks and it lost power and started making a rattling noise on the motorway. No one can fault it, and it's never done it since. The cruise control is a little tempremental. Otherwise its all good.
  21. Love this, the TT Comps look amazing! How much did the headlamps set you back if you dont mind me asking? They finish off the front of the car!
  22. Fwend I'm sure we will get her cleaned up when we both have some free time. I'll lend James' DA and get her super shiny! You still going for grey wheels?
  23. With the nice weather I decided to give the standard wheels a clean up. They had some very stubborn brake dust stuck to them. The method I used was: Washed with Megs wheel cleaner, Tar removed, clayed, polished with SRP then a few coats of Poorboys Wheel sealant to keep that brake dust away. Before: Tardis working wonders: 50/50: Clean: As the Fiesta was sitting unused on the driveway, I swapped the silvertech indicator bulbs over: Before: http://i659.photobucket.com/albums/uu319/ryanwalterszetecs/Black%20Magic%20Fabia%20vRS/IMAG0738.jpg After: Something I've wanted to do since purchasing the car was to spray the grill. Left the spraying to my old man, as his is pretty good with a rattle can: http://i659.photobucket.com/albums/uu319/ryanwalterszetecs/Black%20Magic%20Fabia%20vRS/IMAG0740.jpg I was originally wanting to get the wheels refurbished before fitting them but I don't really have the spare money sitting around. Got them fitted on my day off last week, I'm really pleased with them on. Look a lot better than the previous wheels: http://i659.photobucket.com/albums/uu319/ryanwalterszetecs/Black%20Magic%20Fabia%20vRS/IMAG0742.jpg Took a trip up to my local Skoda dealership and got some plates made up. The 'Car Deal Center' looked a little low rent IMO and I'm not a fan of GB plates either. Managed to wangle a tax disc holder too: http://i659.photobucket.com/albums/uu319/ryanwalterszetecs/Black%20Magic%20Fabia%20vRS/IMAG0743.jpg Thats all for now. Will hopefully get hold of some headlight tinting film and get them some over the next few weeks.
  24. I'm almost on 73k, although I bought it on 69,000 miles 6 weeks ago. My Fiesta was one of the highest of the MK6's on ZSOC with 106,000 miles.
