  1. I have worked out that in mpg it is 38.7......but I must admit that as soon as I decrease motorway mileage mpg reaches around 36.5 Basically fuel consumption is ok up to 75 mph that is around 120 Km/h, from 130 Km/h consumption increases considerably and there opens a gap compared to diesel engines........
  2. .......still about style.........I wish the odometer and the radio display would be in the Skoda green and not in that white or pale blue that makes it a salad of colours....Another small touch is to add a micro badge or something between the radio and the air conditioning controls unless you have the chrome framed version............just a few pence touches make such a difference but I have alredy said I am afraid they want to keep the VW Tiguan clearly above the Yeti........ bye bye
  3. Dear Kenny I am not a vRS wannabee, it's simply that I don't like when car radiators are boringly symmetrical and could not think of a better badge to add.......at that stage I hade to coherently repeat on the back....it's just a matter of style, after all I am Italian and I work in Luxury....unfortunately the L&K version that you have is not available in Italy but I do envy you for those interiors..... Ciao!
  4. After 21000 Km on my YETI 1.4 TSI (122BHP) my average fuel consumption is 7.3 litres per 100km, that is 13.7 km/l. I would say 80% motorway and the rest in town or country roads. Please post your consumption for diesel versions ..... Incidentally I would like to point out what an improvement in aesthetics is given by adding some chrome trims on the lights as I have done (see pictures), I was hoping Skoda would add them on the new version but they probably want to keep it clearly under the Tiguan for look refinement...pity!
  5. Here I am, another YETI owner for the list Username: Falbrav (I love UK horse racing and I regularly fyl over for the big meetings...) YETI 1.4 TSI Ambition Fresh (this is a promotional version sold in Italy for just the month of April which includes Annapurna 17" wheels, Pirelli Zero rosso 225/50 tyres, alluminium bars and side protections, leather steering wheel with radio and maxi dot control buttons etc.) Colour: Mato brown (that's the name in Italy) NOTE: I have added chrome profiles over the number plate area, on the top corner of the rear lights and around the round headlights.......at that stage I could not resist adding a VRS badge on the radiator...... Too soon to tell my impressions but the living space on board is great and very well thought, it seems to be a good balance of ride and is very snappy notwithstanding the height, you do feel that you are on very wide tyres I shall post more impressions along its life ciao

  8. Yesterday I picked up my new Yeti 1.4 mato brown (that's the name of the colour in Italy) on Annapurna 17" rims with Pirelli Pzero rosso tyres a whopping 225/50 !!!. I have bought from Superskoda chrome parts for around the circle headlamps, around the corner of the rear lamps, above the number plate in the back (see picture) and, naughty naughty, I have added a VRS badge on the radiator......... Only driven 20 miles but we are sooooooooo happy !!!!!!!!!
