Seriously considering a DTUK pedal box to improve the lag on my new 220 sportline. If you've got one, do you find the improvement in the normal driving mode makes sport mode more unusable? (At the moment I flick it into S if I need a quick getaway, worried that the pedal box will cause that mode to be less useful)

I've just moved from a MK2 Octavia vrs to a 220 sportline hatch. Performance is about the same, comfort far superior in the superb. Love it. You might pick up a bargain if you can get the spec you want on a pre built 18 plate.

Was at a dealer trying to order a 230 vrs this morning. No can do. Likewise for a 220 superb, no indication of when the 245 will be available to order either.

Hi, just had my 2012 VRS in for a Minot service and came away with an advisory on "turbo unit has oil sweating from main body". Other related advisory is "n/s lower boost hose has sweating at intercooler coupling". Service dept told me I'd be looking at a new turbo (£1400!). Can't really find any info on this elsewhere, the cynic in me thinks they are trying to get me to upgrade the car! Has anyone heard of this? Cheers Mike

Hello all, I'm driving a 3 month old octavia vrs TFSI. It's the first car I've driven with a turbo. Should the turbo kicking in sound like a buzzing noise from the exhaust? It seems to kick in around 2500rpm, but to me it sound like it kicks in a little premature when I'm hardly putting down much power. Any thoughts?
