  1. Help!!!! My 57 reg Octy II 1.9TDi Ambiente has decided to sit the end of 2013 out, refusing as it is to start. It turns over, fires, revs once then shuts itself off to the accompaniment of multifarious warning lights (handbrake, steering, oil) - and I can't escape the inescapable conclusion that it's going to be a) the immobiliser and therefore bloody expensive. Can anyone help meeeeeeee???!?!??!?!?!!??
  2. Hi everyone! Haven't been on for nearly 7 years but I am now the proud owner of a 57-plate 1.9TDi Ambiente. Lovely car, used to be my demo when I worked at a dealer in Kent (!) and I have no complaints. Well, except one. Under light acceleration sometimes she hesitates or misses a bit. Anyone got any ideas?? I'm thinking EGR valve or air mass meter. Not really sure......
  3. There are no plans to bring a vRS Fabia out at all I'm afraid. The factory can't make it work viably so they're not going to bother.
  4. I hired a Megane Scenic in Tenerife - very similar thing except you can't do handbrake turns in them because they have these stupid automatic handbrakes. Discovered it's top speed was higher than quoted in the manual though....:-)
  5. I think there are two schools of thought here - one; the Roomster will do very well and fill a gap in the market which has been hitherto gaping. the car will flop considerably and become another Ford Fusion. Thankyou

Has anyone seen a swatch of the new colours only i've been looking around the site and i can't find 'em... oh - and FYI - you can't buy a Fabia Saloon in this country any more brand new. They stopped bringin 'em in for MY2007
  7. They just can't shift 'em is all - I've not seen many on the road yet so I guess either they're not as popular as the Octy I RS or they just haven't taken off yet.
  8. Hello - I'm new here(mdk1 knows who I am) - just thought i'd pop my fourpenneth in regarding any other make of car. Including Renaults. They are not relevant. Skodas are without doubt the best car you can buy on the road today if you want value for money. My wife has a Felicia diesel and compared to her previous car it is incredible. Never misses a beat and returns 50-odd mpg which for a Felicia is amazing. Sorry to get on my soap box so early on but I felt it needed saying. So there:)
