Hi, I just bought a 2021 iV Sportline. There are no boot rails? Is it possible to retrofit them? I have all the accessories from my previous Superbs, so just need the rails.

To calm things down a bit, here’s some info from the manufacturer: “Similar or better beam pattern than standard halogen lamp, to see and be seen better. There is no ECE regulation existing for LED bulbs. ECE beam pattern compliance is tested on several commonly used luminaires where the LED bulb beam pattern matches the ECE approved halogen beam pattern”.. Leveling systems are not required below 2000 lumens, the H7 Ultinon is 1760.

You might be right, but it’s probably the only set of bulbs I’ll ever have to buy for the car. And they’re gone below 150 € now. As for not being road legal? If they’re not blinding other cars, I don’t see a problem.

Hello all. I’ll get my new Rapid 1,4 TSI DSG on Tuesday. I’ve heard that the factory bulbs are not that good. Since I do quite a bit of night driving, I was looking at the Philips Ultinon LED bulbs. Have anyone here fitted them?

Hello Briskodians. in my LHD 2014 Superb Estate, I’m only getting cold air in the passenger side. Computer says vent flap motor short. Removed the glove box, and see one motor there, but it seems to be operating normally. Any LHD out there that can help me with the position on the other flap motors? thank you

Hi. I can't open the front door on the passenger side. I have partly removed the door card, as much as I can with a closed door. Is there any way to unlock the door from the inside? (That doesn't require electricity?). When unlocking the car, there is a small mechanical sound from the door, but it doesn't unlock.

My Combi does the same thing. Gave the small plastic pin behind the fuel cap door a thin lubricant. It helped for about a season. It helps pushing on the door while unlocking the car, maybe a few times, if it gets stuck again. So either have the locking mechanism replaced or give it some lubricant every now and then.

Hello again.. I found out I had a faulty pressure switch. Switch replaced and system reserviced. But sticking my barbecue thermometer into the air vent, I can see I get a temperature drop of 4 degrees C (from 22 ambient temp to 18 in car with recirc. on). Would you guys say this is adequate? Reading other post, system is described as "freezingly" cold..

Hi, thank you for the replies. Yes, I meant the gas for cooling :-) I emptied the system last summer and added the amount of gas, as specified on the sticker, under the hood, but without success. Perhaps I should give it another try?!

Hi :-) Hope someone can help. I'm having difficulty to get proper cooling in the car. Maybe after 20 minutes, I will get 1 minute of cooling and then another 20 mins without. Scanned with VCDS today, no climate faults. Had the problem last summer as well, and serviced the coolant, but the system was not empty. Any ideas?

Hi :-) I'm about to replace the indicators in the side mirror, both sides, due to faulty LEDs. Now the shop told me to be careful as a new mirror (dimmable) costs around 250£ ea. Can anybody tell me the correct procedure for this? Thank you

@zakkeri, the JBL has input for 4 speakers and a sub. Will that be a problem for the amp, since the Columbus doesn't have sub output? Sorry about all the questions, I'm not very good at car stereo :-)

Thank you both for your inputs. I Think it will be the JBL amp then! And coding will be done when I also install the BT module. Have any of you guys used FatMat? (looks like it's the same as Dynamat). I plan to give the doors a layer and the spare wheel well, where sub will be installed. Inputs appreciated.

Hi all. I bought a 2010 Combi 170 DSG Elegance, wich I wont be getting until end of june. Well, in the meantime I'm on a shopping spree. I bought a 2012 Columbus and a 2012 VW bluetooth kit, Webasto with GSM module, some LEDs and a bunch of MTECH bulbs. Reading about the standard speaker installation, I've decided to replace them with Pioneer TS-E170Ci 17cm. I also want to add an amplifier and a subwoofer. The easiest thing would seem to get a Blaupunkt THA 555 PnP, but it's been discontinued. And I guess I would need a 5 channel amp for this setup? I understand that I can change the speaker-out on the HU to line-out, can anybody confirm? And what would be the easiest way to hook up the HU to the amp? Thanks

Does anybody have both a Superb and a Octavia? Perhaps they could measure the badge size and see if they are the same, since PN for the Octavia badges are listed in the Octavia forum..

Thank you for inputs. Will check up on the gearbox, but I'm sure it's the original. Skoda In Denmark only offers 2 year warranty. But I shouldn't be concerned with the milage on the engine?
