Hey guys... Mr Muscle is going to get a rude awakening today... Time for another Turbo clean out.. (Not sure if i done a good enough job last time).. Car started jumping around, just as the turbo was about to kick in 1200 rpm to about 1900 rpm (Thought i had kangaroo diesel), Thats when i knew it was time.. Trouble is i left it progress.. Untill Today.... LIMP MODE......... Arrrrrrrrragh But a quick on and off of the ignition sorted that until i got home... So fingers crossed the rain stays away tomorrow.. :sweat: I`ll clean it until you could eat you dinner off of it... Will keep you all posted on success... :giggle:

Its Limp mode Buddy, I have gone through all this with my MK1 ocy, Sticky Veins in the Turbo, Get this, there is an Easy fix. A fellow ocy owner on hear told me to clean the Turbo with ( Wait for It) MR MUSCLE oven cleaner, Yes you heard right Mr Muscle oven cleaner. I am going to try to find the link .. Watch this space....

I replaced the MAF with a Bosch one from my local stealers...

Hmmmm, this is very strange.. This is what has been done to the Engine so far.. Cleaned out EGR and Manifold Replaced MAF Replaced MAP Cleaned Turbo New Air filter Cleaned out all pipework and intercooler All wire connections Cleaned an WD40 ed... Now the Dam Engine Management light comes on.. Like i said.. This only comes on when i am going down a hill de exceleration foot on brake... Weired i know... Theres nothing more i can do or replace.. Diagnostics time i think... :wall: :wall:

Why do it keep coming on after i reset with vcds??? And why does it only come on when car going down a hill de excelerating??? strange... Friday, 31 August 2012, 17:08:22. I cant believe the luck i am getting with this car, i am beginning to dislike it like no other car i have owned.. PLEASE HELP, what the hell have i done wrong??? What i thought was a simple job has lead to another night mare.. A simple fuel filter change which is done, i started the car, it ran for a minute then died, tried to restart, NOTHING... where and how do you bleed the system???? :wall: :wall:

Well, Well Well, Here is one Happy Bunny, followed instruction to the T, the only thing i did do different was pump actuater linkage with a lengh of wood, I have office hands and my thumb got sore.. lol.... NO MORE LIMP MODE..... As Lofty Said a little more power too. I want to say a big thankyou buddy for letting me know about this. To anyone with this problem, this come highly recommended... MR Muscle loves the jobs you hate.....

Excitment has got the better of me....lol.... I am going to make a start tomorrow, Next week she has got a nice long run to Swindon, so i need her to be in tip top condition.... :giggle:
