Ouch. That's crap in so many ways.

I was told my vRS iV Estate was down for a week 34 build, which was mid August. Spoke to the dealer today and he said there's at least a 10 week delay on build dates, so maybe mid December? I can't see it being here before January unfortunately. Be a nice Christmas present if it does turn up though. He did tell me he was quoted 52 weeks plus by Skoda on a 2.0 TDi someone wanted to order.

Have bought tunnel mats for my current Superb and the wife's Yeti. Keeps the carpets perfect if you have little monkies......sorry children climbing through in the back. Definitely worth it.

I am guessing here, but with my limited knowledge, it could be a hangover from being purely ICE. With a full EV like the Enyaq, the big 400v battery will have an inverter that will supply charge to the 12v battery, which is required for the stereo, aircon, other ancillaries and will possibly allow a charge to the 12v when plugged in. With the Octavia and Superb iV being hybrid, I would guess they still have an alternator to provide power to the 12v, and if you run the car in E Mode without the ICE running, it will never charge the 12v as it doesn't have the inverter like a full EV. Maybe the trick is to at least once a week, drive it like you stole it to make sure the ICE kicks in and the alternator spins up to charge the battery. Interesting to know for when my vRS iV arrives in a few months.

I have been told my VRS iV Estate that was ordered on the 1st July will be here around the end Sept. The only option is the colour, so maybe a standard one can be turned around in decent time? Fingers Crossed 🤞

Just ordered a VRS iV Estate in Red Velvet. Not 100% sure when its due yet, they said around September but the delivery times seem a bit long for others, so we shall see. Will miss my Superb in some ways though, but you have to move on.
