My 1.8 TSI has done just 4500kms and I had to fill oil around the 4300km mark. It drank about 500ml oil. Skoda says its normal for the turbo charged TSI engines to eat oil in the initial 10K kms after which it gradually reduces. I used the factory recommended (in India) Castrol Magnatec Titanium 5W40 fully synthetic oil which costed me around 400 Rs. (about 4.5 pounds) for the 500ml here.

Very sad to note that they are not offering a manual in New Zealand. I have a 6 speed manual 1.8TSI Petrol Superb and loving every moment of it here in India.

Well, my Superb 2012 does use P21W for the DRL's. Well, I am driving one in India and the exterior mirrors dim perfectly. So its a UK specific issue.

It is indeed the same in my 2012 Superb. It is in fact water from the AC system and mine leaks all the time in the hot humid conditions in India.

My aircon is working with flying colours in the blistering Indian Summer at 45 C. But I had to lower my cabin temperature to 22 from the 24 that I normally kept -

^ I can answer some of your queries but I have a MY2012 manufactured vehicle. That may or may not help you - - I have not used iphone 4 with the new GSM III package but my Samsung Galaxy S2 works perfectly with the Bolero Stereo. I can dial numbers from the stereo and the voice commands work perfectly to dial the numbers on the S2. My total phone got transferred to the Bolero and gets updated everytime there is a change. - I got chrome (nickeled) xenon washers on my Rosso Elegance - MY2013 has very few/no visible changes changes from MY2012 that I own

^ This shudder is definitely a preamble to DSG failure. You should get it checked immediately and get it replaced otherwise sooner than later you will be left stranded somewhere. This DSG issue seriously needs to be addressed by Skoda.

Do let us know the part numbers. Let me speak to my dealer on the same then. Maybe he can get it imported somehow.
