Your struts might be fitted a different amount into the hub, but that would be more like 10mm that an inch -
Why you should avoid cheap spacers!

I haven't had any trouble with my £60 20mm bolt on ones from eBay, had them on for the last 2-3 years -

Mine did that, I just put a bit of PTFE tape around it and it's been fine for months -
APs don't need different length droplinks, they're not much to replace if yours look worn out though I guess

Surely dipping or wrapping won't hide stone chips anyway?

Miltek mufflerectomy- what noise will I get?
FR_MATT replied to SmiggiVRS's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
The owl noise happens when you have a downpipe with increased diameter -
I would have thought it's intake temps not coolant you need to look at...

I saw someone on a different site recommend their snow foam, while I was on the site I spotted this stuff and wondered if it was any good. Seems a good price if it works well!

Insurance, anyone tried CTM.com (meerkats) with mods?
FR_MATT replied to vRSAnt's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
You can usually get like for like replacement of mods with a specialised policy, which depending on what you have may or may not be that important. Edit: Also, I found Brentacre did a thing where you were insured for a certain power level and you could do more mods so long as you didn't go over it without a premium increase. From the printouts from RRs I've seen there is quite a distinct flat spot in the standard map and then it flicks up right at the end to make the 140-150bhp numbers some people get. With a decent map the powerband will be much larger and so even though the peak numbers might not be a massive increase it will feel significantly faster and smoother too.
