Hi all i have just had my cambelt and waterpump changed and i also put a cone filter on my vrs But now the engine light is on ? Do you think it could be the cone filter with no light which i put on a few days before the cambelt change or is it bigger worrys? How do i reset this could it be the maf ? if i just put the old filter set up back on will it reset it if thats the problem thanks

Thanks guys for the tips has anyone got a tec guide for a cambelt change thinking about doing it myself with a little help from the old man sorry forgot to ask what size is secondary air filter if i went down the cone route

Hi after a long time looking for a vrs i have finally brought one. Ok ok its has done 132k but for 1100 pounds i couldnt walk away i sold my scooby at the weekend so had a load of cash burning a hole in my pocket lol . She drives like a dream but does need a full service and cambelt which im booking in for a change today i will try to upload some pics of the car tonight All i can say is i think its a bargin with fsh and loads of bills its a lovely car but could do with a bit more roar lol so i was thinking about a cone filter can anyone tell me what the small hose is that runs from the air box down to the front of the car its not the maff sensor can i just get rid of it or does it need to be relocated thanks guys

Well i was hoping to write this post saying i have got myself a nice mk1 vrs i went and looked at one at the weekend with full service history but high on miles 133k with a nice plate and cambelt water pump just done he was looking for £1995 dealer price what do you think? But he wouldnt ake my car in px as the vrs was a px trade car why didnt he tell me that would have saved me a 100 mile drive lol well i think i better get to work but if anyone has a nice mk1 vrs in dorset for sale around 2 grand ish and would take a nice hyundai gen 3 04 private plate 105k coupe for sale on ebay please look at my items 6169davis in px please let me no I so want a vrs i love them a little picture off the car i looked at Thanks

Hi in new to all this so be kind lol Well i really want a vrs at the moment but dont have to much cash and i need to sale my 04 hyundai coupe or px it for a vrs my question is is 133k on a vrs to many miles to think about buying it depending on how much i get for my coupe .The vrs is in red and comes with full service history its on ebay at a dealer in tauton and he wants 2000 for it same price as im looking for my coupe so what do you all think thanks
