I found the problem my ignition coil connector 4 is getting salting !!!!! so i was told to change the coil, and the cable as it is getting salted too i am planning to buy it and replace it myself but i need to know, do i have to disconnect the battery before working or not. and what precautions do i have to take. will i use the vcds to configure the new ignition coil or not Regards

Hello i have an octavia 2009, i have an error from the vcds 16588 - Injector: Cylinder 4 (N33) P0204 - 009 - Circuit Malfunction - Intermittent 16688 - Cylinder 4 P0304 - 009 - Misfire Detected - Intermittent i just got these errors after they changed the 4 spark plugs at the garage i need to know what is the defected part the spark plug or the wiring of the spark plug thanks alot
