  1. do you have any pics of a fabia lowered 40mm ?
  2. at the moment its on polo gti suspension from the 9y polo I think and ive had a look around and seen a set of Ibiza cupra 1.8t mk4 45mm lowering springs inoe they fit but what do you people think ?
  3. same as the above comment I haven't heard of a shaft snapping. ive got one 54 plate owned it for 6months its got a green cotton filter, catback and a remap and dyno'd at 175bhp fuel wise its not bad £20 gets me just under 200 miles, no faults since ive owned it just had it serviced that's it. ive also got a hybrid tuned 04 plate has covered 170k has the following: pd150 hybrid turbo decat 6 peddle clutch with solid flywheel focus rs intercooler audi tt 312mm brakes cupra r rear brakes stage 1 map cars around 200+bhp drives mint pulls quicker then 270 - 300 bhp cars ive owned in the past, use it everyday no issues £20 gets me around 160miles
  4. hi everyone looking to put lowering springs on my fabia vrs wanted to no if I could put lowering springs off say a Octavia vrs, cupra 1.8t ect ? also what would be the best ride height to lower to as ive got 17" alloys on ? car was lowered previously 80mm on coilovers to wants fun to drive as the gas leaked on them now on standard suspension and don't look right and handling has become rubbish.
  5. get a diagnostics done on it see what fault codes pop up its a lot easier then guessing
  6. stick coilovers onit get it mapped but for the best power gains you will need the supporting mods for example: induction kit intercooler exhaust decat/downpipe n249 bypass silicone hoses uprated d.v ect ect also I would think about uprated clutch and solid flywheel you will be shocked at the difference oh and for remaps you should go for somthink like revo, jabba sport, r-tech ect and go for a live map aka a custom code remap as it will be set for your car and can be changed and set to future mods ect unlike your standard stage1 remaps
  7. air flow meter glow plugs or your intank fuel pump I had the similar prob with my 1.8t would cut out when you start it and wouldn't pick up and wouldn't rev passed 4k when idling turned out to be fuel pump and whoever fitted the induction kit put the airflow meter on backwards, running a lot better now.
  8. the round one goes on the airflow meter if you have a induction kit and one goes on the hard pipe to the d.v and im not sure about the last thin twisty pipe let me know what difference you feel on your car with them on mate
  9. get wheel spin a lot in mines everytime I put my foot down ?
  10. like I said he works in a mot station never said hes the tester
  11. got used to seeing this colour on cars its really popular now, recently it was gunmetal grey
