My 15 plate Monte Carlo has recently started doing this, the noise is horrendous! Is this sort of thing covered on warranty?

i struggle to get 350 all the time! despite how i drive, ive never once seen more than that and have to drive like a nun going to bible class to get near it! i even sold my lead shoes, but no change

is this DM keith on Canal road by any chance? im 15 months into a 36 month PCP and also considering VT, but didnt think i was anywhere near the figure i could terminate at.

are you sure that you have 2? when we bought ours there were in fact 2 nets in the boot, one small one large (like the above in your link)

i cant get anywhere near the figures quoted on the thread. working out miles to tank vs pump fill up the best i got was 44mpg. thats mostly town driving but even trying to "take it easy" still doesnt return me much better. the most ive had out of a tank so far is about 330 miles.

amen brother! we've got the citigo and a yeti at the moment and tbh ill probably be handing them both back at the end of the terms, and leasing 1 car for the missus and ill go back to buying 2nd hand. the amount of depreciation is frightening.

hopefully its reinforced your Vigour to get it done, it looks brilliant even thought its far from finished

check the inside corners of the doors for rust, our 61 plate with 60k had rusty doors (sorted on warranty!)

thanks all, i have another question. mate has turned up a 1.2 3 pot engine from a 2010 Ibiza, are the blocks the same? as in straight switch over unbolt ancillaries etc and away you go does anyone know? thanks

Hi All friend of mine has recently acquired a 54 plate 1.2 Ambiente Fab hatch with a snapped Timing chain, apparently the Chain snapped on "start up" can anyone advise wether this would have bent the valves at all with it only being on start up? many thanks

weve a Monte Carlo citigo, real world mpg around town is about 44mpg for me, which tbh im more than happy with as its all 30-40mph roads and some spirited back roads on the way home. i liked the standard car but the gloss trims on the Monte Carlo really stood out for me, coupled with the black rims and the sports seats it was a no brainer. PID was the one option i got and wouldnt hesitate to reccomend it again, they are a cracking little car and i dont think you'd regret it at all

you do though, honestly i know the figures seem to suggest you wouldnt, but you really do, similar at 50/60 mph if your cruising in 6th and plant it in the 170 it responds instantly and you're off, the 140 has more gradual increase, its not lag, its just not as swift off the mark.

we had a 170 2011 Yeti Elegance, then traded it for a 140 Elegance yeti, and after 3 months of driving i can say i do miss the higher power of the 170, there is a definite difference when you give it the beans, day to day you dont notice the power difference too much, but when you need that extra "kick" its just not there on the 140 sadly, i do wish we'd gone 170 again but you live and learn etc.

any record of the glow plugs ever being changed out bud?
