  1. I'm still in doubt. I dislike the daily increasing cracking of dash, door inside and springs. And I want a 1.8TSI DSG which they never gonna release I think. So day after day I look more and more to an alternative for my O2.
  2. It's time for it and it was more or less announced everywhere, the facelift for the Octavia. But it looks as Skoda has no new Octavia to show in Frankfurt. I'm a little disappointed about that Any idea how long we have to wait for it?
  3. I would like to buy an O2 vRS hatch but I really hate the spoiler on the back. It's so 70-ties in my opinion. This keeps me from buying it so far. Does anyone know if the spoiler can be removed without leaving holes or other traces of it. I don't want a Combi so that's no option.
  4. Why does Skoda do this: Automatic gearbox with Petrol engine = Tiptronic Automatic gearbox with Diesel engine = DSG I want an petrol engine with DSG without switching to Audi, VW or Seat !
  5. Yesterday with snow my auto wipers again were the wordt part of my car. One wipe and then nothing for ever. For continuous wiping there was to little . So despite my auto wipers I kept turning my wipers on and off manually. I hate it. The thing leads it's own life. Sometimes it has to wipe much more frequent. But other times it goes bezerk. With a few drops on the windshield it goes in the highest speed :thumbdwn: I really wished I had normal intermittent wipers :(
  6. Very nice pictures but as I remember my unit looks a little different (I don't have Xenon). The plug on the picture is much bigger than mine seems to be. In my unit only the oval part is black and looks removable, just like in the user manual page 294 (in Dutch manual) front indicator lights.
  7. Removing the light assembly was a piece of cake, but how hard I pulled I could not detach the wireconnector. Is it that tight or is there a trick to detach is. Without detaching the cable you can pull out light assembly so far that you get a litte workspace behind the light assembly to change bulbs but it is almost impossible to do it like this.
