Oct. 3 Scout rear bumper load protector?
jkipina replied to MikeM46's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Another option here: http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-III/Octavia-III-Scout-massive-stainless-steel-rear-bumper-protective-panel-V2-best-fitment-ever My Scout is arriving any day now, so I'm thinking buying a protector, too. -
Octavia build dates for new orders
jkipina replied to RB79's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
The dealer said yesterday that the car has been made in the factory She wasn't very optimistic about the schedule though, might still be mid June when I'll get the car. Hope they'll hurry - there shouldn't be much to do to the car since there's no auxiliary heating or anything to install back here in Finland. I'd be happy to fly to Czech Repubic and drive the car myself to Finland and save a month or so -

Winter pack - possible after-market?
jkipina replied to tag1_uk's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Winter pack in Finland means Webasto+heated screen+heated back seats. Heated front seats are standard. In January, the Winter pack was free (that's when I ordered my Scout :sun: ) I'm Finnish and I've lived in Hants, and I don't think heated screen or any other winter equipment would be necessary in the south of England. But in the Midlands or North - I'm not sure, it could be. But retrofitting is a stupid idea. It is just too pricey. It's better to buy a car with the kit you need. -
Fabia 1.9TDI PD3 2008 - Possible Purchase ?
jkipina replied to Hudson1's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Are you sure? http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/114018-strange-discovery/ Fabia mk 2 1.9 TDI seems to come with a solid flywheel... Also, there might be a DPF in it, I think the engine code BLS has DPF and BSW does not (I'm not 100% certain). Here in Finland you could have ordered a Fabia 1.9 with a DPF but as it cost extra (and lowered your mpg) nobody bothered to do so
