Did you ever find out the problem as I have the exact same problem with my wipers, also similar fault codes with the rain sensor, wiper motor, local data bus and 01044 control module incorrectly coded.

Mine does this as well I do think I have a worn engine mount though. Can you feel it chugging slightly when sat in the seat?

I've got running issues with my pd engine but mine seem slightly different, as well as others things. I feel exactly the same so tempted to get rid of it, it is by far the worst car I have ever bought so annoying. Good luck.

This what I was thinking, is the g85 steering angle sensor located there? Wondering if that could effect it.

I have auto wipers ye but they will come on when in the off position.

Hey as the title says every now and then my wipers come on and just won't turn off it could be dry and they are going like mad, then they just seem to slow down. Another werid thing I have noticed when I turn left once they are doing it they go off and then when I turn right they come back on. Don't under stand why it's doing it any help be great.

What does the car feel like to drive whilst carrying out a regen? My rev's don't move though. Also whilst driving today seemed to miss slightly around 2000rpm. Doing my head in now was fine driving to my destination about half an hour way and then was doing it on the way back. Fuel filter might be my first job, got a full bottle of Comma D-tox in it at the moment to see what it does.

It basically sounds like this no smoke at all though and so far only done it once warm.

Ok cool I'm trying to see if my friend will scan it today or this weekend to see what it flags up.

Drives absolutely fine

Hi all i've recently purchased an octavia vrs tdi 170, every now and then it keeps hunting on idle like it its miss firing. I rang Skoda uk and apparently its had the injector recall carried out. I'm currently trying some fuel system cleaner. Other possibilities i thought may be; MAF EGR blocked/dirty Coolant temp sensor - even though its looks like someone has done this as the wiring looked to of been re-taped when i bought it and coolant looks a bit weak. Faulty injector even though they are new Injector timing setting outs any help would be greatly appreciated. Chris.
