  1. Gutted for you both mate. Thank goodness no-one got hurt, and hopefully it'll all be put back together as good as new. Bas
  2. Mine came on this pm - the coolant tank has a final "click" on it as you tighten it - I suspect that at its last stealer service they just tightened it and didn't rotate the cap sufficiently. Topped it up and turned it till it was locked.
  3. Water injection : alcohol-methanol injection | DevilsOwn
  4. Add in a HUGE wraparound one for the rear axle - a single jack up on that can mess up rear alignment badly, needing total rear axle replacement. It happened to me with a mechanic fiddling with the rear ARB. Shims saved the day but it was a lot of work.
  5. Doesn't it contain microabrasives as well? Where's that darn sheet?
  6. So you havent found the ejector seat switch yet?
  7. Fuel- powered RC car? Smoke, noise & thrills. Also "cool" in front of his mates. I'd hazard a guess that he's already said that Airsoft is for babies or summat to that effect??
  8. I would see if there's anyone that can do plastic welding local to you - or a careful epoxy/file job would make sure that it's all good.. Good luck Baz
  9. I've seen first hand in Canada how an eye hit by a flat-headed pellet looks. You wouldn't believe what a mess it makes of the delicate insides of an eye. Not fixeable at all. The case (a little boy) I saw had to have the eye removed, and the pathology slide showed a tangle of retina and vitreous gel surrounding the outline of a .177 wadcutter pellet. Just as long as you have strict rules followed, including the use of safety glasses and there is adult supervision, it's good fun. When little kids start to play "war games" then it has a habit of going pear-shaped pdq.... my 2p... Bas
  10. Somehow that sounds rather inappropriate....
  11. Oh come on - dont be grumpy.....
  12. Would take a careful look under the seat with a bright light source and reading glasses (if you're over 42). Might just be that the release linkage was jammed or snapped, and a little screwdriver leverage action in the right place may allow it to slide forward again. Sorry to hear of it - hope your relative makes it up to you Baz
  13. what car (apart from the batmobile) would even look good with a flamer kit?
  14. Ouch! Pretty scary stuff there Jase. Do keep it neatly wrapped in brown paper under your bed for any future opportunities for re-use... Nice One Baz
