Update, Just purchased Borg & Beck 312mm front discs and matching pads. Fair price I think at £81.44 all in! ( rrp £120.00 ) Will post update with how I find them Once fitted tonight.

63k. Glasses book value is £7500 ish.We buy any car closer to £8000. Private/trade sales around 8-12 lol. I was thinking of putting it up for £xxxxx

Thinking of selling my Octavia Vrs cr 2010/10 Haven't got a clue how much to put it up for, they seem to range from £7000 up to £12000 on various websites for a similar car. Any ideas guys?? Thanks

I have decided to sell my car, subsequently I am going to keep oem and just replace the discs and pads all round like for like. Can anyone recomend any brands to go for/avoid? My local motor factors recomended APEC discs and pads?

I'm on 63k with original pads and discs all around!

Looking for a stereo upgrade and thought about one of these. I've found a kenwood but it's got a vw logo as start up. I presume I can change this once installed via VCDS as I'm about to purchase one from Ross tec. Will either of these head units need coding in to my 2010 Vrs? Currently have a bolero wich I will be selling.

I've got the same control module and car, led number plate lights fitted with the led box ticked. I've had to Piggyback a standard bulb to stop an error light on the dash. I had an issue with no led Drl's but sorted it. Can't remember what I did now but I did tick the xenons without shutters box aswell as changing the binary code.

Love my vrs's torque now it's mapped. (Tdi) I used to have a 1.2 corsa and then moved to a 360bhp Evo 8! That was quite a big difference lol

Yes I belive so. That's what I did! Bear in mind ch/lh through fog lights won't work so don't tick that option.

I'm not saying there crap as such, just not happy with there performance and want to improve them.

Think they mite dissipate the heat better under hard braking. Plus they look nicer

Just a quick update, took car in to Skoda today, new compressor fitted and re gassed. No charge thanks to Skoda uk! Saved me some £750 ish pounds. I'm Very happy with their customer care and can now look forward to spending some money on my car over the next few months. Many new things await!!!

I also have these with metal pressed plates in. Love them

To add I want drilled/ drilled and groved discs.

I've decided to put updated discs and pads on instead of a big brake kit. Any one recommend some good drilled and grooved discs and decent pads?

Looking to upgrade my head unit. Currently I have a bolero but want sat nav and dab radio. Do people think the Columbus would be a good choice? Looked on eBay and there are several but they have different version codes. Any help would be good. Thanks
