  7. Can anyone recommendation where to get an uprated clutch for my 2014 hrs petrol, has anyone used buycarparts.co.uk?
  8. Thank you. With a username like Logitech, I take it you are a mechanic/technician
  9. Has anyone taken their oil filler cap off the car when on idle? I did this with mine only to find quite a bit of suction and hissing as I did so. Is this normal? 2014 vrs 220
  10. Hi folks, just wondering if anyone with prior knowlege can help out. My car has a habit of running lumpy now and then so I decided to take it to a garage to get checked out. The code P0193a00 was saved, it was then cleared to see if it came back on which it didn't. Some time after this I had a carbon clean done and the tech who done this told me 2 codes were stored. P0193 and a turbo under boost code. I asked him to clear them and done nothing about them. Then today I had a fault check done again and the p0193 is there again. Has anyone any ideas what could cause this. Car is stage 1 sharked 2.0 tsi 2014
  11. Roof wrap looks good on the race blue. Got a pan's roof with the rest wrapped and all badges changed to black.

  14. I would agree if it wasn't the fact I have 4 month old goodyear asymetric 3 fitted. One of the local guys said it could be the maf. Showing a fault when on close to full boost
  15. Evening all, has anyone else noticed if their traction light flashes on the dashboard when driving hard? I thought it might be wheelspin at first but I've noticed a couple of times when in 4th gear and dry roads surely it can't be. I've a stage 1 shark remap and a gfb dv but have had an intermittent turbo underboost fault code, could it be clutch slip possibly? Lets have some feed back please.
  16. All right Ant. Can I ask what spark plugs you run (cooler, and do notice a difference for normal day to day use)?

  17. Yeah I thought the same about the map but the car ran great for 6 month I'm still getting the high 30's to the gallon too. A few guys mentioned diverter valve but that wouldn't explain it running rich.
  18. Ok. Wee update 2 codes Intermittent turbo underboost Archived fuel trim sensor, bank 1 running rich.
  19. 14 plate petrol vrs 27000 miles, 6000 of them with Shark stage 1 remap. Problem being every now and again the car feels like its idling lumpy with a odd pop and burble through the exhaust. On throttle it still runs pretty good apart from when pushing hard it sometimes feels lazy between 4th,5th and 6th gears, also I've never haf an issue with coolant or oil until recently with both dropping ever so slightly. Any ideas?
  20. My oil temp read out has stopped since getting a shark remap. Sorry off topic but just noticed since reading this post
  21. Look on awesome gti, they have a couple of different brands for the job.
  22. Looks good. Not too sure about the new headlights yet, still think they spoil the front end look.
