I can't find out how to remove the rear inner door grab handle, I've used the search function but only found front door card removal. I've undone the torq screws and rear switch and weeter, but cant see how to take the grab handle off. The reason for removal is to trace a rear passengers footwell water leak, and I thought I'd check the rear door membrane. Any idea's? Thanks

Hi guys, just had all the drivers door apart on my 2004 VRS and cleaned all the pins and connectors on the electric window motor as per the guide on here, but I still hav'nt got the drivers mirror working or the central locking working on the drivers door either. One of the pins is quite corroded and moving about a fair bit, but does'nt seem broken. What else can I do ?, I've looked on ebay for a replacement motor but none on there at the moment. It's driving me mad now! HELP :-(

Hi, As the thread title says I have a few problems with my vrs. The first one is that the O/S/R footwell is soaking wet, ive checked the weather strips and door seals and all is fine, any idea's?. Secondly I've lost the use of the drivers mirror ( have tried a mirror and new switch but no better ), but the passengers works fine on both settings, and the central locking on the remote is not working on the drivers door, but the rest works fine, again any idea's?. Is the wiring loom going through the ' A ' post a comon fault?, ie cracked or broken wires? Thanks for any help!

Stick with the re-circ dump valve, just get it uprated!

Friend of mine put a DTUK tuning box ( fitted by me ) on his Insignia 2.0 tdci sri, thing goes like a rocket now, eay to install to, and easy to remove!. Great customer service and back up. The box even works with his DPF

I'd have one like a shot, but £45 seems a bit steep for a plastic finisher, plus I can imagine they scrape a fair bit to and replacing them could become expensive!

Sounds very much like the spigot rings!, get all four done and make sure they're the correct sizes!

I did mean the air vents in general and the headlight switch surround, but I'll try the hazard switch too!!

How do you remove the light switch surround and air vents??, bought some carbon and want to get wrapping!
