  1. Hello all . After some advice if I could . I have a 1.6 tdi Fabia , CAYC engine code . I am having continuous regeneration issues , regardless of my driving style . I drive 30 miles a day to and from work , some motorway miles , so A roads ,and even if I take the car on a long drive , it still starts regenerating . On average its every 400 miles or so , which can be twice a month . I have had a new egr fitted , pipes are clear and dpf is clear , someone has mentioned that it could be the injectors, a friend has hooked the car up to ODiS and read the injector values, but wasn't sure what the values meant . I have attached the file , could anyone advice me if this is good or bad . Thanks
  2. Sorry , only just seen your message , yes I stripped out the complete dash
  3. I tested the resistor first by replacing that and the old fan worked , but I changed the fan aswell , as I don't really want to strip out the dash again
  4. Hello , turns out it was the resistor that was faulty , thanks for the help guys
  5. Thanks so much for the info mrgf
  6. Hello all , I am sure I read another thread about this issue and if it is already listed , I'm sorry I couldn't find it again . I have a 2010 fabia with climatronic ac , the display works fine , if you adjust the temperature, the fan speed adjusts on the screen . However the fan isn't working , so air is coming through the vents , I was advised this could be the screen ( control unit ) itself, I have replaced it and still the same issue . I want to confirm before I take the dash out to replace the fan motor , I read these cars with climatronic don't have resistors , is this true ?? And is my only cause of action to replace the motor now ?? is there a test I can run on wiring etc , oh and I have checked the fuse , and that appears the be fine . Many thanks Adi
  7. The engine code is CAYC . thanks
  8. Yeah , I guess , thanks anyway 👍
  9. So this is the read out I have had , please excuse my ignorance , but is this OK or is there an issue . Thanks
  10. Thanks Keith, I'll have a look at that now 👍
  11. Thanks , thats a good start . I'll get that done .👍
  12. Hello guys . I sure this has been spoken about but I cannot see an exact match , so here goes . I have a 1.6tdi 105bhp ( remapped but issues where there before the remap ) . I do 18 miles to and from work a day and it is motorway and dual carriageway roads so a contant speed is keep . There are no logged faults in the cars system . I tend to keep the revs higher after reading some other posts on here . But the car Is regenerating on average twice a month and when it does, it drives like its powered by kangaroo juice . And now I haven't used the car for 4 days and it is now doing it again ( was fine when I stopped using it ) . I am after any advice on what I can check or what the issue may be ( I have access to odis to check faults etc ) . I love the car , but this is really getting on my nerves now . Any help would be greatly received . Thanks
