  1. I'm having this rear interior light issue since the last software recall which gave me wireless Android Auto. Pesky ghosts!
  2. Yup sounds like what I had and the bushes were knackered.
  3. Any rattles I had in my door cards were where the clips had cracked and the card was moving around. Worth getting the card off and replacing the clips.
  4. And nope. still leaking......badly. Time to drill out the rivets!
  5. I had the opposite, I found it easy enough. I find having plastic spatulas for taking trim off to be immensely handy!
  6. How would you describe your technical ability with assembling furniture? If you are handy enough with basic DIY with spanners and the such then yeah its not bad at all. There are youtube videos explaining how to do it.
  7. Aye well I took the card off and found where its coming through. Took the sealant off and did a new layer under the carrier and around the edges smoothed with my fingers (damn messy). Hopefully this has finally nailed it.
  8. Aye well plumbers gold is kinda like silicone but it can set when wet.
  9. Yeah, I got a quote from Skoda and they wanted £350 to seal the back doors O.o
  10. Hey all, Both my rear doors have been leaking now for a while and I've followed DRJ's guide for sealing the doors. I've done this three times with both doors now and used numerous new door clips. And yet it still leaks from around the edges. Is there any other solutions? BTW I have been using plumbers gold.
  11. I didn't find anything too exciting but the cap off some De-icer, an old actamel yogurt which was mouldy and a shriveled up black nectarine which i thought was a squash ball at first. Oh and plenty of what looked like rockwall under the rear seats.
  12. I would get a motability car in a heartbeat. Everythings covered with them so you know they are properly looked after.
  13. Just got my thinking, I've never seen the door open warning light on my car. Is this an "optional feature"?
  14. I've had the warning light come on for the past few morning now. Its alright after I restart the engine after a few mins. Ahh well its in the garage tomorrow I'll get them to look at it.
  15. I ended up going for the bosch one I linked above and its been dandy! Thank you for the guide you wrote up about changing the battery DRJ
  16. I paid £15 for a resistor off ebay. It's been dandy! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A2-VW-POLO-SEAT-IBIZA-SKODA-FABIA-HEATER-BLOWER-RESISTOR-6Q0959263-/330848802477?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AFabia&hash=item4d082016ad
  17. Ended up choosing this one instead. I assume its correct going by euros battery chooser http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Skoda_Fabia_1.2_2007/p/accessories-car-batteries/car-batteries/most-popular-car-battery/012-car-batteries/?444770125&0&cc5_1003
  18. Story goes as follows.... Couldn't start the car this morning and found out the battery is kaput. Seems straight forward enough changing the thing but I want to make sure that I've chosen the right one: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Skoda_Fabia_1.2_2007/p/accessories-car-batteries/car-batteries/most-popular-car-battery/012-car-batteries/?444770120&0&cc5_1003 I've got a Fabia 1.2 12V. Thanks Sean
  19. In the driver cubby hole (first pic). What is that stick thing on the right. I've got one of those and I haven't a clue what it is.
