Which Bluetooth module do I need?
t_reazy replied to VanillaRum's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Thought all 2012+ units have integrated bluetooth in the headset? Was looking for a similar thing. Presumed fitting a head unit with bluetooth in it would negate the need for anachronistic separate module? Anyone? -
Do you still have the boot floor?
-
You make a very valid point. I'm a lot a very early stage ATM. Out of interest, if anyone that reads this knows - I know the fabia is based on the polo platform, the Octavia on the golf. Does that mean the superb is based on the b7 A4 platform?!

Hello all, I'm after a bit of advice. I've not been in the Skoda game for a few years but thinking of returning... Looking at getting a MK2 pre facelift vrs estate but notice the centre console is very basic ( no satnav, same air con dials from regular Octavia I think). How easy is it to replace the centre console for a more updated one? If anyone has any threads I'd be most grateful ( briskoda) has changed since I had my fabia! Cheers in advance, Tom.

From 4wd car WON'T FIT FABIA MK1 before someone else asks. Come with brand new pads. Selling for a mate, presume they would fit audi tt mk1 4wd too. Open to offers, fabulous condition. Spread the word. 120quid (an absolute steal, worth twice that, just wants rid) . Will soon be on ebay too

Change of mind... Not going to sell until next year. Pm me in new year if anyone is interested. Tom

Fair enough, just trying to flog my motor

Cheers, that wouldn't affect the noise when turning though would it?

Got a set of b8 front shocks that need a new insert. Would be like new once replaced and far cheaper than new...

Can I get something for my old turbo?
t_reazy replied to Ph1lly87's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Thought turbo remanufacturers take old turbos in p/x? -
There's a very reasonably priced vrs in the cars for sale section...

Got a circular squeak (eek, eek, eek) at very low speeds and a lower pitched moan when turning left at normal speeds. Thinking it's a wheel bearing... Hard to tell if they're coming from front or back... Any ideas? Cheers

Hello all, Not sure if this is the right section but I'm thinking of parting with my fabia vrs mk1 as I'm looking for something a bit bigger and miss not having a petrol. Think it's primed for someone to do all that fmic stuff to it... Basic specs... 76000miles 06 plate silver Shark remap 170bhp Ap coilovers about 4 months old (sensibly lowered) 17" Tt ronals Whiteline rarb 312 and 256 brake upgrade 2014 Ibiza fr seats (black) Mechanically sound, will have mot and service soon. Couple of little stone chips but no rust, never been in a crash. Suppose I'm looking for £3k in Birmingham. Email me for pics [email protected]. Still considering it but happy to field any questions... If I've missed something let me know, cheers. Tom.

Ha, touche bruv. Hope turbo gets fixed properly.

It wasn't meant to sound as harsh as it did, my bad. I'm just of the opinion that audi/vw/skoda know better than most/all of us so why push a car further than it is supposed to be pushed. Putting 250hp in a fwd car seems like insanity to me. Especially if it's on a budget
-
Or just get a car with 250hp as stock... Or maybe learn to drive properly?!

For 10quid a month extra that sounds like a lot of ballache for little gain
-
Bump

Thanks for the help guys ????
-
Apologies to bring up an ancient post but would anyone fancy doubling /trippling up and buying a few as 10quid postage for a 25quid strip is ridiculous...
