  1. Hopefully got a fuel pump relay on its way to fit and see what it does.
  2. Not sure. It could be. It's on a launch creader 5 code reader.
  3. Hi All. I have a couple of issues with my vrs. I have four fault codes popping up on my vrs and are driving me mad. Was driving back in the rain yesterday and faults kept coming back right after I cleared them. First one is fault code p0230 fuel pump relay circuit malfunction. When this one comes on, on its own the car will still drive OK but the cel light comes on. I can clear it and the car will still drive OK. Is this sounding like its faulty and I need a new one? Where does this relay live and how can I test it? P0401pd is the next one I get. I think that’s due to having fitted a Egr blanking pipe. Do I need to get it mapped out? If so does anyone know anyone around Shropshire that could do this? Is it best to put Egr and new 90 degree top pipe back on? If so what’s the skoda part number for the top 90 degree pipe by the Egr? The next two are the real problem. P20243pd turbo/supercharger wastegate regulating solenoid/valve a and P0246pd turbo/supercharger wastegate regulating solenoid valve a high. Both of these put it into limp home mode and won't rev past 2500. I can switch the car off and it will be OK for about 5-10 minutes then comes back on again. I've fitted a new map sensor and a new vacuum solenoid block on the front right strut and it fixed it for a bit. Seems to happen most of the time in wet weather. Any ideas? Thanks Matt
  4. Again depending on the dates i might be up for this.
  5. Really looks the part on the superb trims. Best of luck with the 1.8t conversion.
  6. Hi does a fabia mk1 vrs on a 04 plate have canbus wiring? Not sure as i want to install a new headunit but don't want central locking problems as some have had on here. will i need any adaptors or anything? sorry for all the questions, it's just i've had this happen on a citroen c2 (french jokes aside) which did the central locking problem. thanks
  7. Hi. Just a quick query about this stereo. http://www.caraudioc...80r_p-23169.htm Would this plug into a fabia vrs mk1 without having to run a seperate power feed from the battery? So in theory i could take the old symphony unit out and plug this one into the existing wiring and it should work? Would i need to swap the yellow and red wires over to avoid central locking problems? Thanks.
  8. Thanks for the Welcome Dean. I'm from near Church Stretton.
  9. Hi There.Recently bought my Fabia VRS from a local Skoda Dealership. Quite a different car from my previous car a Astra 2.2 Sri. Really happy with the Fabia in all. Some bits and pieces do need tidying up on it which I'll get done at some point. I do have some parts in mind for it, but not sure how far i'll take it yet. White worm badge which will be getting done soon and the worst scratch on drivers wing.
  10. Hi there. I'm Matt from Shropshire. Recently bought a Fabia mk1 vrs and finding it a really nice car to drive. Bought it from my nearest skoda dealership in Telford. Finding it nice to be doing reasonable mpg now after having a astra 2.2 as my last car but plenty of get up and go when you want it. Hope to meet you all soon at meets and shows. Nice to find a really helpful forum.
  11. Really tidy octavia Phil. Rally Red really suits it.
  12. Sounds good Phil. I'm up for it.
