Finally a Skoda with Active Info Display. This is the new Karoq. A must for a modern car in 2017. So, when do we see this and more new stuff in Superb.. In 1 year maybe?

Anyone wants to speculate when (unofficial) news about MY18 arrives? I expect to see some new gadgets etc will be available. Like new online infotainment, head-up display, digital instruments, LED headlights, internet enabled Webasto etc and hopefully a cheaper TSI 4x4 DSG.

Is it possible to start/stop the Webasto using an app on the phone? What about checking status of the car, location on a map etc? Like Volvo and others have had in years. Thanks.

Some interesting figures for Superb in Norway. This is the sales numbers for 2014: 98,0% diesel 64,8% 4x4 95,8% Estate The (ugly) hatchback isn't very popular. But Norway is a land of Estates, regardless of the brand! :-)

Can anyone (from the Nordics?) tell me how they use the Webasto parking heater? When you park for the evening, what settings do you set the Climatronic at? Do you leave everything at Auto or do you set it to blow only on the front glass (windscreen?)? Do you set it at higher temperature than normal etc?

The dealer adjusted the motors last week. They are not so fast anymore. But today they called back and said Skoda have a new recall of the motors, guess they have had several complains.

I had the electric motors replaced some weeks ago, guess it's the same recall notice. We did not notice any problems with the old ones. The new motors are much faster with the result that the boot slams down way too hard when it closes. I will bring the car back to the dealer.

OK, so after some different answers, it looks like I remember correctly; it should stay on the previous temperature. Have anyone else experienced this and know a fix? Can I reset the Climatronic?

Recently in my MY2013 Superb, the Climatronic have started to always default to 22 Celsius after the car have been off for a while. If I leave it at celsius 20 C when I park it, the next morning or after a couple of hours it's at 22 C. I don't remember it was like this before. Am i wrong or any solution? Thanks.

Today it's been -13 Celcius and the next days will be some colder. Just gotta love it! No winter sports yet, waiting for the snow.

We have approx minus 8 degrees Celsius in Norway now. I notice that the outdoor temperature display in my MY2013 show approx 3 degrees too much. It says -5 Celsius. Anyone else noticed a significant difference?

I had a passenger today that pulled the handle that adjust the cooling to the glove department so it got loose. When she tried to put it back on, the plastic handle dropped behind the box. So now I can't close the box. Before I put the car in molecules, have anyone did the same and have a quick way to get the piece out? Sorry I forgot to measure the overall height with the box before I removed it. But here are some pictures if anyone are interested to see the inside and the ceiling lift. I also fitted a light with remote control inside the box.

Are all 12V sockets in the Superb constant live? Any way to easily change this?

That's what I thought, but it does not seems to work in the few tunnels I have been in so far. Tunnels I know have AF.

Does Columbus support RDS AF (alternative frequency)? I can't find any menu for it and it's does not work in tunnels.

Well, in Norway Combis in general are more popular than sedans and often also with roof boxes (ski boxes) We got a newborn the day before the Superb was delivered and with 2 adults and 2 kids and clothes and boots and pram and everything, its very nice to have the box for skis and some light luggage in the winter going to the mountains. The box is a Skiguard 850. http://www.skiguard....x.php?sideID=41 850 is recognized to be the nicest and best ski box by many in Norway. It's wide, rather flat and lies tight to the roof. The roof bars are Thule. Will try to measure the height tomorrow.

It's a warning telling you someting like there is an airbag installed so don't mount a child seat without turning it off.

Hi all. I'm been lurking around here since I bought my Superb Combi in the beginning of March and today I got the car! It's a Elegance 140 TDi 4x4 DSG, with Webasto, Columbus, leather. Well, most in the list except heated backseat, panorama roof and upgraded stereo as the most important I considered. If you would like to see a MY2013 here it is, can take inside pictures tomorrow. The roof box will be stored away when it's not in used, bought a ceiling lift.
