Best and cheapest place to buy a new clutch

Just get standard Sachs and dmf. Euro car parts or car parts for less sell them for reasonable price. -
Good luck

I often just walk into my TPS and get stuff and I'm not in the trade at all.
-
I'd rather pay few quid more for proper vw stuff, quantum platinum was around £23 inc vat from TPS

H7 for standard halogens, d2s are the xenon replacements I believe?

I have the black hole and nattys wax which is an excellent combo. Also have the wheel sealant but I find it isn't really durable and wears off rather quickly.

Mines mapped and I generally get 470ish by the time the light comes on. That's a brimmed tank WITHOUT the venting mod. Works out around 52mpg average. That's 80% motorway cruising at 70-75 and short 6mile round trip journeys to work.

Someone one here had his silver vrs done at AMD. Can't remember his user name, but has 16'' 5 spoke gunmetal speed lines/compomotives. I know this because my mate was there getting his mk6 golf gti done.

Yeah definitely check the alignment. -
I have Michelin pilot on the front and have covered over 30k with still plenty of life left. Mind you I do a lot of motorway driving with the ocasional spirited blast.

No shouldn't affect your insurance premium as you're claiming off the skoda dealer's

I have the Valeo kit and it does chatter/vibrate like mad during peak torque range usually 2000-2250rpm ish. And it chatters when I lift off around 1500rpm. Horrible kit if you ask me but I just don't have the money to replace with a Sachs/LUK clutch and dmf
