  1. Price drop to £9500 ono, Car will be going to dealers otherwise so if interested make me an offer.
  2. Due to a change in circumstances I am putting up for sale my beloved vRS Car has covered just 27.8k miles but this will change slightly with daily use. MOT till April 2014 and Tax till end of June 2014. I have had 2 new rear tyres, Vredestein Ultrac Vorti fitted in September and front tyres still have around 4.5mm. A full 4 wheel alignment was done at the same time. Car has full Skoda service history, was serviced earlier this year. Has an extended Skoda approved warranty till June 2014. Comes with the usual vRS spec plus some optional extras: Full black leather interior, rear parking sensors, Maxidot display and the MDI connection for Ipod etc, spare wheel (unused) as opposed to the tyre foam, rubber floor mats. Wheels have been refurbished in anthracite which really sets it apart from the standard silver. Additionally I have had the following parts fitted: H&R rear anti roll bar upgrade Superpro anti lift kit Neuspeed P Flo induction kit BCS stainless exhaust Rear window tints Still have the standard airbox and exhaust which will come with the car if required. I regularly hand wash the car and have treated it with the Carlack/ Collinite combo of paint sealant and wax to protect the polished finish. I only ever use Optimax fuel Car is in excellent condition throughout and really does look the part. Regularly get comments on how good it looks £10,500 ono. I am located in Newcastle upon Tyne, viewings welcome.
  3. Can highly recommend BCS Automotive who are based in St Helens. I've had a full 3" system installed by them on my petrol VRS. They can tailor the exhaust sound level to your requirements. I went for a hybrid version of their quieter prestige system and the more full on race version.
  4. Hi is there anyone in the north east who can code for xenons on a FL octavia?
  5. There is a really nice metallic sparkle in the paint so definitely not dull. I will need to check with my mate who did did them for the code, he showed me a load of colour charts and after speaking with him on what would look best this is what was picked. Couldn't agree more with you Rob, I want to get it lowered but want a decent setup to maintain ride comfort level my wife and 5 month old wont complain about so thinking about the KW comfort or Eibach Pro street which also come recommended.
  6. Quick snap of the car that I took after getting it back from paint shop. After deciding to keep a more stock look and not buy new alloys I've had the standard Neptunes painted in metallic anthracite/gun metal type colour. Wasn't sure if to go full black but having seen the finished result Im glad I didn't. Personllay I think they look fantastic and improves over the standard silver. Will get more pics up shortly, using a proper camera and not my phone but had to share asap
  7. Less than what an equivalent Miltek system would cost . If you call Nige at BCS and mention that your on the forum he offers a discounted price compared to the standard price advertised on their site.

    BCS Exhaust

    TBE system, 76mm throughout
  9. Drove down to BCS Automotive the other day for the fitting of my new exhaust system so though I would give my thoughts on the whole process. Having discussed with Nigel what I was after they made me a hybrid system between their full on 'sports' system and their more restrained 'prestige' version with a 200 cel cat. Its 76mm all the way through even around the awkward bends at the rear of the car. It took a few weeks for the system to be completed and once it was ready I got myself booked in for the fitting. I arrived at their workshop from Newcastle at around 10am, inside they had their own very nice Golf R and also a customers 4.2 Audi S4 for which they are developing a system. Nigel was out at the time but was greeted by Dave and the other lad whose name has escaped me at this moment in time. Had bit of a chat then it was on to fitting the system. There was a bit of a wait which I didn't mind especially as they are very particular about getting everything perfect, was plenty of tea and coffee on offer . A lot of attention to detail is put in to the system, the angles and positioning of the exhaust tips and the way they exit from the bumper had to be to spot on for them to be happy. Once it was all on it was time to fire her up, what a difference!! Despite not having the full on sports setup it still sounds fantastic. On idle there is subtle burble and rumble to the tone of the car which tells you its not the OEM exhaust. This this then turns into into an awesome roar when giving it the beans, love it. Been driving round with no radio on just to hear it! Definitely not a corsa with a drainpipe or as crazy loud as evos etc can be which I absolutely wanted to avoid. Motorway driving there was no unpleasant drone in the cabin. Looking back the only thing I would have changed is wrap the downpipe, but they used a massive flexi joint so there isn't actually much pipe to wrap. In summary, the exhaust is awesome, the guys at BCS were top notch and without taking anything away from the likes of Miltek I would recommend everyone to really consider them before going to a big brand system. Pics to follow
