  1. I’m not sure what turbo you have fitted as I read your complete project back in Jan, but I believe it was a PD150 Hybrid? I also have the exact same dip and had mine mapped to save the standard clutch. I believe it’s quite common for these hybrids to have a dip. See my dyno below.
  2. Hi, I've decided that I am going to finally do a few modifications to my Fabia VRS. I have a milltek exhaust with decat & airtec fmic and I'm going to have a custom map done to the car. Now the car is running a standard clutch and I don't plan on changing it as it's only done 15k since fitting. With this in mind, before I go and get a custom map should I change the turbo? If so is a PD150 turbo my best option? Or should I spend the bit extra and get a hybrid version? I don't really want to be spending thousands on a turbo but do think it would be wise to replace my standard KKK turbo before spending the money on mapping. Can anyone recommend somewhere for a turbo? Thanks.
  3. Bit of a thread revival but love the car, just read the whole thread, its really given me the bug to mod my silver vrs
  4. Hi guys, Just found a genuine but used MDI USB cable that I bought for my MK2 Fabia vrs, the cars long gone now so it's no longer needed! £7 posted
  5. Ah crap I'm covering that weekend!! What time will it be?
  6. It's going mate, decided I was spending to much a month on it! But I'm up for it!! If we need more numbers I can ask a couple people see if they wanna come!
  7. Am I allowed to bring my French car to this?? If not your gonna have to count me out!!
  8. This is the only picture I have from the previous owner, it's still in the exact same condition! Will take pictures when I'm at home next!
  9. Thanks dude! Brought it off a member on here for £150 so just want what I paid back! Not here to make money of fellow briskodians! The previous owner brought it in November 2012 from Awesome GTI, covered about 6,000 miles from new!
  10. Hi guys, Brought this from a member on here, I've now had a change of mind and decided to get rid of the car so it's no longer needed. It's an ITG maxogen, however it's stamped up as Volkswagen Racing, it looks exactly the same as the ITG and the previous owner has got a receipt from awesome GTI for this. I haven't got a picture but can get one if someone needs one! I'm after £150 posted. Can be collected, I'm based in Leicester. I'm away at the moment and won't be back till Sunday so if someone does buy it, collection will have to be after then or it will be posted Monday!
  11. Hmm corolla doesn't really do it for me! I like the gti6's but the interior is a bit dated for me! As much as I love my skodas the 182 is looking seriously tempting! With regards to loans that's sorted now and should affect my mortgage applications
  12. George, thanks for your honest advise! House deposit is not touchable (been left in a will with a clause) so that does rule that idea out! I wont be buying a house until next year, just trying to get my finances a bit straighter than they are now! As i will have to sell the car either now or just before i get the house! But anyways back on track! Anyone got any other cars to suggest??
  13. Insurance on my fabia is around £65 a month, 182 is around £85 a month and oct vrs £90 a month! Without going into my finances to much, my car is currently on finance, and i also have a dreaded credit card (champagne lifestyle, beer wages come to mind) so the idea is to get rid of my car and have a small loan to try and become debt free. The monthly repayments on a loan are £70 cheaper than just my car payments! Deposit wise for the house i already have.
  14. Hi guys, A long story short I've decided i want a house so my beloved mk2 fabia vrs has got to go! Now i want to know if you guys had £2000 to spend on a car for you to use daily and wont get bored of in two minutes what would you go for? I don't really do a lot of miles, (250 a week max) so I'm looking at a petrol really, i don't want a golf as i think they all look the same, but i am 21 so insurance does come into it quite a lot still. Ive considered clio 172/182 or mk1 octavia vrs, has any body on here own both of those? If so let me know what you prefer! Just wanted to see if you guys can think of something i've not thought about! Thanks Adam
  15. No problem, what car have you got?? Think rorky isn't coming now so just gonna be on my Larry! Still gonna pop in for a coffee though!
  16. My missus' cracked me up the other day, she had a clicking noise when driving (stones in the tyres) so I told her to flick them out.. She then proceeds to ask me to turn the steering wheel so the rear wheels are pointing outwards like the fronts! I nearly cried with laughter she wasn't amused
  17. I traded my mk1 vrs into farmers, they have me £5150 for it, had to have the side painted as it had been keyed and it was up on there website for £6000 so they didn't make much of my old one but then again I did by another vrs through them so suppose they win in the long run! Off topic: OP what you purchased now? Ill keep a look out for you if your local
  18. Saturday for me as long as its one I'm not working!
  19. Anybody else up for this if there heading this way? So far its me, devilman9050 and rorky07! Gonna meet in the main mcdonalds car park! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  20. Sorry to pee on the parade but it should be 27, rorky07's on twice :( would be good to get 30 cars though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  21. Thanks for the information! Problem is it doesn't always do it and I'm worried they'll think I'm just wasting there time! Gonna keep at eye on it and see if I can make it do it then go demonstrate it because it's quite worrying entering a roundabout and having no power
