800 miles since 1st April, i have the same squesky creak from the pedals. Loving everything else though. My first VRs as im only 19 but i smoked a Vectra 2.2 SRI today!!

Hello there all, just a quick one. You know where you fill the car up with Diesel, i have noticed that my car does not have the gate like filler cap that most other cars have. Often when filling my VRs up the pump stops because the nozzle is too far down and the diesel touces the end of the pump nozzle. Are all of the VRs like this or have they forgot to put mine on??

Yeah add me, alomst each time i change down its stuttering as thought the engine doesnt know what to do. Not v impressed!!

Been reading another thread which someone says that the VRs has a adaptive learning programme??? Is this true and if so can it be changed just by thrashing or driving the car easily???

hello mate i have only had mine since saturday and it seems fine. I havent been booting it much though as i wanna run her in properly. Still pulls very hard in all gears though!

It was just above the red, trip computer said i had another 90-95 miles left

the 0-60 time is a little bit rough, only the girlfriend timed it so dont shout at me, i was just excited thats all. Its so easy to drive in a relax manner in this car but its also really easy to turn it the other way and fly in it. Just filled up for the second time and i got 341 miles on my first tank, Good or bad??

I am taking it easy its just hard especially when you first get it!! Can you really notice a difference once the engine is run in??

Picked up my VRs Venom today and well what can i say, WOW!! The whole look and feel of the car is awsome. The leather interior is really smart too! Really glad i got that! Timed a rough 0-60 with the missus and she timed it at 7.5 secs!! anyway i wont ramble on but all i wanted to say was im over the moon and i know what everyone else feels like now who has a VRs!!!

Finally after ordering my new VRs Venom over a month ago i pick it up pn Saturday!! Totally excited and i keep dreaming about picking up my car, is this sad??? After i pick her up and show the parents i think i will fill her up and drive all day and take some good pics. If i can work out how to post them on here ill put some up!!

Just curious really, its pretty confusing and annoying when you see all sorts of different quotes floating about around the place!! Roll on saturday when i pick up my 06 VRs Venom!!

so you think the VRs is 130BHP?

Hi there everyone, my mate has just got a 55reg old shape Leon FR which has the same 1.9tdi PD engine as the Fabia VRs but produces 150 BHP. Having read many threads on here and other forms i can see that almost 80% of people say that the standard Fabia VRs is between 140-150 BHP. Are there any differences between the FR engine and the VRs or have SKoda told a few porkies to keep the insurance group down and keep sales up?????

are the discs on the VRs vented or not??

No not bad i thought, only problem for me is the insurance, im only 19 and if you multiply that by 100 then you get my best insurance quote!! Pick the car up on saturday and i cant wait, this week seems to be creeping past though!!

i was told that the RRP for the vrs venom was 13500 but they did a straight sale for 12950 with a £1000 deposit.

Cheers Echo, is it abnormal to be very excited about getting my car, im 19 and its only just under a week away until i get it but i cant sleep some nights because im thinking about it!!

So looks like it could be the brigestones then, im not too bothered to be honest, im not a tyre geek so i know little about them, would just be nice to know what they are so i can do a little reading on them. What bridgestone model are they, and size?
