  1. What is it with women and their handbag in the footwell, drives me mad too. If the scratch is on the glove box plastic, give it a rub with the HANDLE of a black plastic screwdriver. Only a gentle rub should do the trick. Might be worth having a go somewhere discrete first, boot etc.
  2. Find an old screwdriver with a black plastic handle. The cheaper the better. Then rub the scratches with the handle only lightly at first. Best to try somewhere not so obvious, i.e. door pocket until you get the hang of it. This little trick has got me out of trouble a few times, let me know how you get on!
