Was the Sat Nav card present as mentioned earlier as you require a Skoda one as the SID of the card is the Licence for Sat Nav. As far as I'm aware the mobile holder insert was an extra accessory anyway. Glad that you've found one that you like, it would be worth checking out the various threads on the Sunroof, just so that you are aware how to keep the drains clear etc.

I wonder if the Golf R has a service schedule for a filter clean as I bet that there is a lot out there on which the Haldex will get a lot of use.

How many miles is that at ?

It uses secure cards, the is a hidden partition that holds the licence for the Sat nav, it has to be a genuine Skoda Sat Nav Card.

I think it is behind the rear edge of the wheel liners (from memory)

I had mine changed under warranty, the edge on mine was quite sharp.

Just changed it on my 17 plate vRS, old one was a double walled G rev Mit Silikat, coolant was lovely and clean but I topped up with new. I've just run it up to temp and all OK, straight forward to do, even though I don't own a hose clip tool, mole grips for the large pipe and I have a small set of adjustable pipe wrenches that did the return pipe.

It might be worth an hour subscription to erWin - you can print the documents to a PDF and refer back to them, it is the official online repair manual for your car: erWin it will document how to remove the headlining, there may even be a TPI document on water leaks from the sunroof.

Just ordered an M for my vRS now it is out of warranty, so I'll be joining the "no Tea Bag gang" 🙂 😁

Is anyone else having an issue with the Status Display on the Android App? I have tried an uninstall and then re-install to no avail. It will give me the basic status, so I know where the car is and that it is locked, however there is no status for the Windows or Lights or fuel range - all of which are correctly reported if I login to the Skoda Connect Portal Online on my Laptop. So the data is making it to the Skoda Servers but it seems not back to the Android App. I am on EE - however I use a Dongle with a 3 Data Sim in the car and that side must be working OK as the Data is available using the Online Portal on my Laptop. It is as if the App isn't able to get all of the data from the Skoda Servers, I'm sat in the office at the moment and so the App is paired to a 50 Mb/s FTTC connection via WiFi. Thanks. Paul
