Hey You need to get the exact same part number. Some encoding might be needed for stereo etc.. The CCM is in a big plastic box under the seat. Pretty easy to replace when you lift carpet/lining. Get it out, check part number and get a new/used one (you already done that :-) ). NB! Check all nodes under carpet behind seat too. Gave me a real headache to find all corroded nodes after my swimming pool experience... Search in forum here for slashing footwell etc. Many good guides and explanations.

Hey BurialConstant I got my unit from Poland today. Did you get any installallation instructions at all? Customs ripped out all documents, so I don't know if anything actually came in tha package. I recently had a Superb I which I knew inside out, but have not removed any linings in the new one yet. Do you know of any good guides for this other than your photos? Would have been nice with a guide to keep out of airbags etc :-) Regards, David

I've put in a TDI Powerbox from eBay. Gives around 30 extra bhp, maybe more. Works like a charm :-) Costs approx. £25 on ebay.

Hey I've just mounted rear parking sensor on my 2009 Greenline (original part. no. BEA 800 002) at Skoda dealer. They tell me that it's not possible in any way to connect these sensors to my Bolero stereo to mute volume and display data from sensors. If course they told me this AFTER installation... If I knew I would have done it myself, not spending that much money... Do any of you know if there's a way to connect and program/flash the Bolero stereo to gain this functionality?

Hey Raketforsker. Brought home my Superb II greenline with Bolero soundsystem today. I saw your FISCON post. Are there any dealers of FISCON in Norway or Denmark? Is it possible to make it communitcate with the Bolero system (display, bluetooth)

Hey Just brought home a Superb Greenline 105TDI today. Sold my old 2002 Superb 130TDI which was still going strong after 280000 km. Fantastic cars! Looking forward to tweak and retrofit many components in the new one too. Think I'll start with parking censors, bluetooth for Bolero, towbar. Is is possible to retrofit the autodim rearview mirror?

Hey Just rip off all the tape. There's two "nodes" which usually corrodes under the carpet behind front seat. One with 6 thin red / black (maybe red /blue), and one with 4 blue / gray wires. You need to rip off all the tape to get to them. Don't know price on new harness, but try to fix first... Good luck!

Hey Just fixed mine. Ripped up the carpet behind drivers seat (left hand drive). There's a node there with 4 blue / gray wires going into it in the wiring harness. This contains leads to wing mirror leds, interior light dimmer circuit and also remote control unit. Mine were completely corroded... There's also a node with 6 leads for the lights under seat, doors etc. These where black / red I think. Completely corroded too after /&"(#¤( water ingress...

Hello again guys. Been on vacation, so sorry for my late post. The radiator fan is up and running again. Bought some brushes, filed them down and on we go :-) Thank you all! Also got a OBD-II cable from ebay and programmed the open window feature. Got a friend with a new octy, so just had too... :-) Took a VAG-com reading with the cable, and have 3-4 flap engine faults (AC), and there seem to be no contact with controlbox J285. I'm hearing quirking sounds from AC, so the flap motors needs to be replaced I think. Any of you know if I need to deal with the J285 problem? Where it's located, and if this can be result of my water ingress problem. Thought I've fixed all the nodes now... Anyway: I'm ordered some interior parts from Skoda dealer, and I'll ask them thoroughly 'bout cambelt replacement reganrding km or years. I've seen you have to at 100', and recommended minimum 4 years, but I know there's been some hassle 'bout this in Norway, forcing them to change this. So, I'll post when I've talked to them. The interior parts uses long time in summer... Any good advice regarding the flap motors by the way?

Yup. Haven't had many problems with it. Only water ingress and the radiator fan. Some flaps in the aircon canals are stuck I think (error codes), and looking forward to a nearcoming turboswitch. I've also disababled the EGR valve. Started leaking couple of years ago, so I got the shop to rip it and fill the hole :-) All in all a well put-together car! Dave
