  1. HELP PLEASE,im trying to get information on how to change(pics hopefully)the fuel filter on my 1.2 ,60 b.h.p. fabia 11 ,ive googled,went on russian/czech sites,obviously here,but all to no avail,or else im blind/stupid,or a combination of both,anyone pls?
  2. looks like a lot of hard work,but well done,and yes the noise is fairly bad inside the cabin,wish i had the balls to give it a try,afraid id lose half the stuff
  3. use my old halford roof bars,were off a vectra,then i adjusted them for my felicia,and did the same for my current skoda fabia sport,small bit of adjusting,and i carry ladders no probs. p.s saved me a few bob.
  4. having driven all over e europe,since 1994,i would highly reccomend making an effort to try romania,parts are medievial,really stepping back in time,espeically transylvania,we worked all over ro,in a humanatarian aid capacity(voluntary)and its a truly remarkable,relativley cheap holiday
  5. got them for my fabia,bit fiddegty to fit ,but ok 4 the price,not as snug as i expected

  7. hi ref stainless sills from china,got a set for my 08 fabia sport,delivered within a month,and they look good
  8. have to disagree with the negative reports about tarrants,i got great,free advice from guy in stores,info i couldnt get in any other skoda cork garage at the time,guy was patient,and on the ball,aswel as that i got a part delivered to the door within 3 days,inc postage cheaper by e18 plus,than all the other skoda garages i got quotes from,so from my viewpoint,they are spot on,tops.
  9. on a similair topic,since fitting a tow bar to my fabia a month ago,when indicating,vv loud from right rear light cluster,wasnt there before,gone when i take out the tow bar electrics fuse.puzzled?
  10. hi,got the same type rack on my little fabia,great job,although with my hatchback i need to put a number plate on rack,as mine cant be seen with the 2 bikes up
  11. hi best of luck with the yeti,ive a fabia sport ,here in cork,would dearly love a yeti,u lucky duck,by all accounts they are a great motor,vv popoular here,ive had no probs whatsoever with my skoda,wish u the same,sounds ideal for what youre going to use it for
  12. im getting around 40/45 plus ,running a 2008 fabia sport,but im easy on the accelerator,if u put the foot down you pay the price.
  13. went there last year,got a free check up,diagnostics etc,and they even gave it a quick wash,goodddddddddd
  14. hi to all,i find briskoda very helpful,ive gotten great advice,hints,help from this site,,even to a ham fisted guy like me,keep up the good work,simplyclever,fabia mark 2 driver,and used to have a felicia.

  15. really happy with my 1.2 sport,no timing belt,,little rattles,plenty of room,goodon juice,smallest,but def best motor ive had,,simple ,but smart motor

  16. hi 4 what its worth,most unreliable cars ive had,citroen zsara,all electricail probs,car opened ,and closed when it wanted,also,had a crap time with a renault laguna,alarm ,electrical glitches,and same with 2 renault nines,aloso had the misfortune to call the a.a. out 5 times in 4 weeks with a 1995 mercedes c200 ,everything went wrong with it,,,,,best car ive owned,a 00 felicia estate,107 miles ,and still going strong,all it cost me weas a e50 alternator.
