  1. Nope Novsight ones beam pattern is perfect with no glares prior to me putting it in the beam setter so no adjustments required Light output is sensational Only gripe is interference on FM but he doesn't listen to that normally
  2. I fitted some led from hid direct in my dads 2 years ago super bright and still going strong fitting led headlight bulbs tomorrow then nipping to the garage to set the beam up correctly it has shields already but best to sure
  3. I use hammertite with waxoy spray l on an older car 9 year old honda The Mazda this year and the Skoda last year I didn't bother it's too new.and a lease car Dried very quickly
  4. Not really worth it Use Android auto /apple.car.play it's more more useful and free But I think it's £35-40 from the dealers
  5. Unless you work in a diamond mine I would think it wouldnt need one Our Amundsen screen was ok after 2 years of use when we handed it back The unit before in the roomster was.still like new Apply common sense and it will be fine
  6. Mazda 2 Boot slightly smaller than the fabia but overall in my opinion much more car for the money Trust me...shop around... test drive a few different cars you will soon see how overpriced Skoda really is I test drove Citroen ç3 Renault kadjar Peugeot 2008 Nissan Micra and pulsar We went back to the Mazda as the car ticked all the right boxes for us anyway
  7. I test drove a lot of marques before plumping for a Mazda For comparison my Mazda has as STD Led headlights Rear camera Privacy glass Alcantara and leather seats Heated seats Lane departure Blind spot assiat when moving forward and also when reversing Head up display Windows all round with fronts with one touch Keyless entry and start Folding mirrors All for a lot less than. The equivalent fabia Shame really as I liked the vag brand and my last 4 cars have been Skoda but it just felt the brand was moving away from what it was a decent equipped for a sensible price to something it can never become due to the vw masters it will always play 2nd fiddle to the polo in terms of equipment
  8. Wow 20k for a fabia never thought I’d see the day probably much more car available elsewhere at that price point one of the reasons I now run a brand new Mazda
  9. Let me have a look tonight when I get home I'll let you know what I find
  10. Is that for the facelifted one ?? The exact same deal was on 2 months ago for the 95 hp Monte Carlo
  11. Indeed it is a massive pain in the bum but not impossible I think the h4 bulb on lower spec look easier to change than the h7
  12. Usually it's Snow foam Rinse Wash Rinse Fallout remover Clay Compound if it needs it Polish Wax or lsp Slick tyres Wax the glass (except screen) A Admire
  13. I think the Skoda customer demographic has changed Fabia MK1 and 2 both had vrs models which is aimed at a youthful crowd so to speak and so are more.likely to post on here and generally mod cars Fabia 3 is different no vrs at all and a Luke warm 110bhp Monte Carlo so appeals to a different buyer Plus the influx of Korean hit hatches and other manufacturers in general have all offered a sporty hotish hatch to compete in the fabia segment And then the elephant in the room Skoda themselves At one point the vw pay masters encouraged a different product for a different customer with vw engineering for a fraction of the cost Prime example was.skoda fun pick up Skoda roomster or praktik Then the range became more controlled by the masters to the point the range is now intentionally under equipped tto prevent Impacting sales on other bag marques This will be more evident with the new rapid due to launch soon Them we move to price and even that is more aligned with the group with the intention to appear more upmarket and the karoq and kodiak is further example of Skoda chasing a more upmarket clientele and is slowly dumping on repeat Skoda owners hence the slow slip down the satisfaction tables At.one point Skoda meant (to me ) fantastic value good reliable cars with a great friendly dealer network that image is slowly changing But that's just my take on it
  14. About right for Rainworth The business manager James is the reason I am now in a Mazda Shame as Richard Hollis was a nice salesman I had bought 4 skoda's of him in 6 years plus my dad bought one aswell I'll never go back until James has got the boot

  16. The 105 is very dusty indeed Ultimate compound is not as course but is very more user friendly you can mix a bit of ultimate in with the #105 to combat this a little Same as ultimate polish or gold class is easier to work with than the #205
