  1. I'm confused though. They say it is lowered 15mm but the 'GO' of CITIGO is not green and the Greentech button inside is missing. Do they lower the sport without giving it Greentech Start/Stop?
  2. I asked him about that He takes them at a 45 degree angle Some people do hydraulics - I've seen an UP! with that.
  3. Only wheels and suspension as far as I know. His instagram has photos of the setup.
  4. The info is available to everybody. https://motorregister.skat.dk/dmr-front/appmanager/skat/dmr?_nfpb=true&_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=vis_koeretoej_side&_nfls=false Choose 'Registreringsnummer' and type my number plate number into the search field (AB24237) then click 'Søg'. This one: http://www.nummerplade.net/soeg/?regnr=ab24237 shows the same but also how much I still owe on it under 'Bilbogen'. We have databases for many things - the value of every house and how much it sold for last and Income per house (I believe) - great if you are a bit nosy
  5. I think the idea of people waiting a month to get a better number is a bit odd - the dealer's must struggle with having all that business moved to twice a year? Here we have one large database for everyone to look at. You can see all the data about the car: registration date, model, owner, insurance company, how much you still owe on it and much more. This makes it a lot easier to buy used cars. If the car was serviced correctly (sticking to the intervals), you can see the milage it had at the latest service. This makes it harder for those who try to cheat by turning back the milage in order to fetch a higher price.
  6. Nothing AA 00 001 was the first number plate AA 00 002 the second and so on. A few years ago we ran out of letters/numbers and had to start over (some old number plates are still in use, so those are skipped). Mine is AB 24 237 You can choose not to have the EU standard (EU flag and DK for Denmark) but then you need to add a DK sticker on the car if you cross any borders...
  7. A fellow Dane did this http://statigr.am/viewer.php#/user/11680678/
  8. and each of the two grilles seem to have two parts: 1ST853653B9B9 and 1ST853653A9B9
  9. There are two different part numbers for the grilles (number 3) - both are satin black. I have no idea why. 1ST853653A (PR-2JU) and 1ST853653B (PR-2JG) I'd suspect the easiest for the factory would be to only have one grille and two (or more) grille trims. A mystery...
  10. 4 is called cover trim and comes in two different versions - chrome being one of them. I'm not going to try to take off my chrome trim for you The part number is 1ST853767 (1ST8537672ZZ for chrome).
  11. from this site: http://ifinterface.com/page/page3.php?langid=1 (choose CarProg2 and click your way through the parts you want)
  12. My thoughts about the chrome is that I generally like my chrome grill but it's the only chrome on the car (except for my alloys that are half black / half aluminium and look a little chromy). I'd like to see if more chrome would suit it. Since I have the black sporty foils / decor, the tailgate chrome strip would have to go on top of it - which I'm not sure would look good. There's also the chrome strips for the side doors (from the white up!) but this too would go on top of the foils / decor, so maybe not a good idea. The ebay chrome was cheap, so it's no biggy if it looks bad and has to go after a first photo shoot - pictures will be up when done
  13. You could get the grill from an entry level citigo - which is 'satin black' as standard. Part number for non chrome is 1ST853767 (chrome is 1ST8537672ZZ)
  14. My Elegance is a Greentec and has the green GO on the back. Only greentecs have that - not sure about the sports and whether they come as greentec anywhere in Europe...
  15. I ordered these chrome bits: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-CITIGO-CHROME-SIDE-DOOR-INDICATOR-SURROUND-TRIM-COVERS-SET-STEEL-/200867317717?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2ec4a007d5 and these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLKSWAGEN-GOLF-MK4-MK5-CHROME-DOOR-HANDLES-GTI-GTDI-R32-FSI-1-8T-AUDI-TT-VW-/280724179697?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ACitigo&hash=item415c770af1 My 15.000km oil change is coming in early september - I have asked them to remove the Skoda and citigo texts on the hatch (the green of the citigo is not my thing). So, a little chrome on and a little off Hope that ebay chrome doesn't look too tacky...
  16. There's a new thread for that. I like the ones I ended up with (MTECs) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MTEC-W21-5w-T20-DUAL-FILAMENT-SIDE-DRL-7443-SUPER-WHITE-HID-EFFECT-BULBS-Pair-/400385373634?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ACitigo&hash=item5d38d3f5c2 They are not that hard to change yourself.
  17. Yikes but thanks. I'll give those numbers to my dealer and see what the price is here (most likely more).
  18. There is an optional alarm in the Citigo brochure (not in the UK version, though). http://www.skoda.lv/files/accessories/citigo.pdf page 6 under safety. Might be this one: http://eshop.skoda-auto.com/cz/en/b2c/car-security-alarm-for-skoda-models-bka700001x This part number relates to the Citigo but it might just be for fitting the alarm: 1ST054620
  19. Are those crazy huge stickers in the front window obligatory? I'd go mad, if I had to look at that
  20. It's not easy to take photos that are comparable - but here's some that show the standard DRLs vs. MTECs. It's easy to see that the MTECs are whiter.
  21. I have had no issues with the ones I've tried other than them being too dim in my opinion. and I've tried a few of these types I ended up with the MTECs. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MTEC-W21-5w-T20-DUAL-FILAMENT-SIDE-DRL-7443-SUPER-WHITE-HID-EFFECT-BULBS-Pair-/400385373634?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ACitigo&hash=item5d38d3f5c2 They are more blueish than the Osram Nightbreaker Plus H4 and HB4 that I use for main lights and fog lights...
  22. I tried several of those LEDs but found them all to be too dim. They stick out farther than normal and the light is not reflected. These MTEC are brighter and have white light: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MTEC-W21-5w-T20-DUAL-FILAMENT-SIDE-DRL-7443-SUPER-WHITE-HID-EFFECT-BULBS-Pair-/400385373634?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ACitigo&hash=item5d38d3f5c2
  23. https://mediaportal.skoda-auto.com/resource/documentation/manuals/en/Citigo/03-2012/Manual/A00_Citigo_OwnersManual.pdf page 140/141.
  24. I thought about fitting the front and rear diffusers / spoilers (from the sport). They must be available as spares...
