  1. Don't be too concerned with the 42month option as you aren't as tied in as you think. You could after 3 yrs part ex the car for another pcp deal and still have a bit of deposit left. Ive gone for 42months as monthly payment lower plus dealer said they usually contact people after about 30months for a new deal!
  2. Latest from my dealer is my car will arrive around Feb now but was originally told late December.......apparently car is at stage 10. Not that happy with extra delay seen as i ordered it August!
  3. I ordered my vrs about 3weeks ago but have since thought how useful the heated windscreen would be and at £200 isnt bad......would i be able to add this to my order or would it be too late at factory? In reality i would have thought the windscreens are towards end of build so fitting heated one shouldnt be problem. Gonna ring dealer tomoz.
  4. Regarding the cornering fog lights it says in my brochure they are standard fit so if they aint fitted i would argue the dealer must fit them or activate them. Trade description act etc.......
  5. Swissvax Crystal Rock wax cant possibly be £795 per tub!!!!!!!!! Lol
  6. Wheres best stockist of all that stuff? I will also be spending hours polishing it lol
  7. What polish do you use mate, its beautiful and deep......as red should be......will give mine a good treat of polish when it arrives, even though it may be snowing! lol
  8. Ah nice one....loving that one and its got black pack like mine will too;)
  9. Hatch mate. Ive always liked red cars but its all down to personal preference. Getting another blue one wouldnt be as special.
  10. New VRS tdi manual ordered in red with black pack ( nice contrast with red), cruise control, sunset windows and colour maxi dot display. Expecting late December! Cant wait! Like the blue but already got a 58plate in blue so fancied a change. My first brand new car!
  11. Hi folks just to give a final update on this issue the car has run sweet as a nut ever since it had the seals re done. Not had a single DPF light even with lots of urban driving and no hesitating or juddering. Changed the fuel filter again just for piece of mind and there were no signs of oil. Engine oil at normal level too.
  12. Its been a week now since the seals were re done on the new injectors and the car is running perfect again with no rising oil. PROOF that the old seals were fitted incorrectly and that SKODA UK were wrong! This is a proven case now if anyone needs to use it with Skoda Uk or any garages feel free. D.M. Keith Huddersfield did the original injector swap work so obviously didnt do it properly the first time but I insisted on their master tech re doing the work to the seals and hes done it properly now. Looking at getting car lowered now and maybe DPF removal in not too distant future.
  13. Just to update this thread too my car has had new injector seals fitted today and oil changed so time Will tell if its cured. I'll keep you updated.
  14. Update! Car has now had new injector seals fitted and they've changed the oil, all covered by Skoda UK which is a result. I just hope its resolved the issues so only time Will tell! I Will be changing the fuel filter as soon as i get the car home tomorrow as they havn't done that. Hopefully any oil left in fuel lines Will get filtered out so I'll prob change fuel filter again after I've run a full tank of fuel to empty. Hopefully my story ends here!
