  3. Does anybody know if this module OEM VW Bluetooth module RCD RNS510 A2DP Voice Control iPhone 3C8035730 B! Is compatible with my car. I know it says VW but I thought I would see if anyone could help.
  4. I have read most of the topics on this problem. I have a 2009 Superb elegance which has been connected to my Samsung mobile quite happily, last week I changed my phone for the iphone 5c, after hours of trying to pair it, now tells me that this is an in compatible phone. Having read most posts on this it seems that this module 5N0 035 730 D solves the problem or if you know of any other. Can anyone throw any light on this, I have tried searching e-bay for this without much success. While am capable of most things, I'm not particularly knowledgeable on this, I'm at a loss. If anyone can help it might save some of the little hair I have left from falling out.
  5. Thanks for that,I have just had contact from a local Briskodian who has all the neccesary discs including vcds,so looks like my problems will be resolved we're getting together in a couple of weeks. Can't be bad solved within a few hours of post, thanks to the forum

  9. Hi, my name is Mick and I've been sent here to see if somone can help me. I have the same problem as most on here. Please bear with me as not only am I new to forums but also a bit short on the tech side of this, but with luck I will undestand if in idiot language. I took delivery of my 2009 Superb Elegance 2ltr Tdi (Great Car) I went to use the Sat Nav, entering postcode, would only accept 5 digits, I went back to the dealer who told me the maps needed upgrading to V7.2 needles to say it didn't work. He told me the unit would need changing (£1800.00) as there was no software upgrade. B******S was my reply Having read the above posts I see it can be done. I have tried to find what version I have via the hidden menue, holding setup button for 30secs+ nothing happens except am.fm.DAB. Then I read there is something called a VCDS which I have'nt got a clue what t is or how to get hold of it, or do I already have it? All I really want to do is be able to enter 7 digit postcodes and latest version maps. Can anybody help me please.
  10. Hi, I Have the same Superb as you only registered in march 2009. I have also had similar lack of success with the dealer. I asked about a firmware upgrade for the Columbus Sat Nav as I wanted the 7 digit postcodes instead of the 5. No prob's was his reply I'll install V7.2 maps that will solve it, WRONG. this has all happened in the last seven days. Like you I don't know what version I have as I can't get into secret menu. Do you know if the upgade you did solves this problem and if so where do I get it from, can I go from what is installed now to 4020 or will I have to go through earlier upgrade. As you can tell I really know what I'm talking about !!!!!!! I think. can you help please? Great Car.
  11. Hello Alkip, Thanks for that any ideas where I can get Firmware from. Is it a universal fix for all Columbus sat navs.
  12. Thanks for the welcome. It's 2ltr TDI 170
  13. Hi, new to forums so excuse any errors before I go any further. I collected a 2009 Superb hatch a couple of weeks ago, can't believe how far they have come in a few years, all thanks to VW Group I suppose. I do have one major gripe with it though, the Columbus sat nav, I have had better. I took the car back to the Skoda dealers explained it would only accept 5 digit postcodes, he advised me the V3 maps installed needed updateing to V7.2 this would solve the problem. So kind man that he was installed newer version maps, you got it, didn't make any difference at all. So back where I started he couldn't give me any answers to the problem except that it is an old model and would probably need updateing, cost wait for it £1800.00 fitted. If anyone can throw any light on this, is there a diy update or something, I'm not to clever on this tech' stuff, but if you can help, I wouldn't arf! be grateful. Apart from that its a great car and I am really pleased with it. Hope to join in more in the future.
