  1. Many thanks for all your thoughts everyone, they are really appreciated. I know the original question may have seemed a bit daft:O , but not being familiar with the Fabia, and in view of what my daughter was being accused of, it was something I had to get sorted. This forum was my first port of call and I've been really impressed with the speedy responses. Thanks again everyone:thumbup:
  2. Hi everyone. I hope someone might be able to help with a central locking/remote key problem. My daughter was sitting in the front passenger seat of a Fabia with remote central locking and alarm. She pushed the central locking button on the passenger door and the owner is now saying that the car won't start and is accusing her of damaging it!!!! Is it really possible that just pushing the central locking button could cause a problem like this?:confused: I wondered if pushing the buttons on the remote many times to try to unlock afterwards would have caused the problem.
