Are the headlight protectors still available?

Let me know if you find a new projector that fits. Would be nice to know for reference.

My factory xenons wear also giving poor light output. The projector is removable from the back of the headlight so there is no need to split them. On dismantling and inspection, the reflector and lens were in perfect condition it was the additional glass lens that sits in front of the protector was all dirty, a quick clean and reassembly and now they are great. I to was ready to replace the projectors but there was no need :-) + they are a funny size 2 inch I think all the aftermarket ones seem to be 3" or 2.5".

Have had these fitted for the last 4 years and they are still nice and tight with no play

Check what reading you are getting from your pre turbo egt sensor

I have vcds and the fault code was pre turbo. Plus when I checked the temperature readings it was constantly reading 1000 °C the other two were ok. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

That's the one I have replaced on my car 2. If you actually think about it it's more prone to failure as it gets the exhaust gases at there hottest Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

One is pre did one is post dpf and the other is pre turbo and easier to see from under the car if I remember correctly sensor with black plug is pre turbo Orange plug pre dpf and brown plug post dpf. But I am only 100% on the black pre turbo one Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
