  1. now where did that boy get that Furby, o6, hmm. looks good:thumbup:
  2. Hi my son and I bought a new (Black Magic) Furby vRS 6 weeks ago, with cruise control, ESP and leather seats. It is fabulous to drive and I don't find any stutter in the gears. I agree, the overtaking perfomance in 3rd/4th is awesome. Drive one and you will want it. Try to get a deal through Car Corporation over at Castle Donington. We got ours
  3. Texasjohn is correct. If you have a problem talk to Skoda UK. My car shows the dealers name on the number plate and on the tax disc so I would just point that out. I also have a certificate confirming Skoda warranty. Good luck:thumbup:
  4. I left my Peugeot but only because I had to drive 20 miles to nearest Skoda dealer. I bought my Fabia via the Internet as I got a much better deal i.e £750 off, but with hind sight I could have done even better if I had played one garage off against the other. Good luck with your choice it is a nice car to drive, permanently.......
  5. Black seems to show the sploges too. Must get a new chamois:thumbdwn:
  6. who is a lucky lad Dunc? I am passing my 06 Black Magic to my son but he's worth it. I have it for a few more weeks until my new arrival appears
  7. Hi Whatever Skoda, get the vRS model. The Fabia is great to drive but have ESP as an option. Welcome to the club
  8. :D Hi I don't drive "slowly" but am averaging over 55 mpg. Yes, I got my leather seats as an option, but less than
  9. yes I emailed lots of garages over the UK and got big discounts offered:thumbup:
  10. the current Fabia vRS will take some beating and my 06 doesn't have a stutter but it does have Black Magic, cruise control, ESP and.....wait for it......leather seats!! If you shop around the dealers on the internet you should be able to get a good deal, like £750 upwards off RRP. Sadly I am having to pass on my Skoda to my son who is coming back from the States, well it was bought with him in mind, so I am getting a Peugeot 207, yes 207, at end of June £1400 off RRP. All I did was email a few dealers and twisted arms for Fleet prices!!
  11. umm you can always try Dad's emporium, with his staff discount, if you want quality!!
  12. Plenty of rain on Anglesey and the reservoirs in North wales are all full. We can "sell" you some folks!!!!
  13. My Black Magic is 3 weeks old with 750 miles on the clock. Yes there is a stutter but it is nothing to worry about. I agree Skoda wil bring out a fix, but just wait until you get behind the wheel and see what a smooth drive it is and feel the power in mid range. I don't seem to experience "the roll" others talk about either. I also have ESP which saves me wearing out the brakes into corners and leather seats which are worth every penny. Cruise control isn't bad either but I find it a strange sensation not having used it before. The only car which has over taken me recently was an Octavia vRS with two old ladies on board, nattering away. I was only clocking 95mph but they went past vroooooom!!!
  14. I agree with all the comments above. The parents should be taken to account. The benefits these kids "scrounge" off the state keep us all in poverty. Do as was done 50 years ago and make the parents keep these wanton siblings at home and at their expense. Why the hell should we bear the cost of their stupidty
