  1. Did my update last night, apart it being incredibly time consuming it went well without any problems.
  2. AdamJMK - 2017 Octavia MK3 SE Sport Hatchback 1.6TDi 110 in Candy White
  3. I have the 17"s and sports suspension, the ride is not crashy or bumpy, if you can drive from the UK to half way through Germany and have no issues with your back you know there isn't a problem. Just my 2p worth
  4. Don't tend to do too much editing in photoshop, those pictures were straight from my camera. Use quite a few Autofinesse products on it, that time my car had the full works, wheels off, arches cleaned etc but i'm not usually that attentive to detail. My dads car was brand new (less than 50 miles at the time) but did the same treatment. Back to topic, loving the red mk3 above, really want the monte spoiler
  5. Just stumbled upon this thread, my fabia is doing the same so i'll be asking them to sort it whilst it's in for service in the next couple of weeks. Happens to do it a lot if you have the cruise on and sit around 50-53mph, if you lift off or accelerate the noise goes.
  6. My quick 6 month review.... Very impressed with the gains even if they are listed as small they do indeed make for a better driving experience. An extra 25hp is certainly noticeable. There's an improvement in midrange performance and top end is improved too. I had my last Fabia 1.6 TDi CR mapped and the mk3 feels faster. I've got around 7000 miles worth of useage out of the map so far and it's been faultless, it's been across Europe to the Nurburgring, and to Belgium and back, this is how the car should of been out of the factory.
  7. My car came up with a spanner on the maxidot display with the amount of miles left when it was close to service, it's set to around 9,500 miles according to the display.
  8. Resurrecting.... (any chance we can have this topic pinned?) I'm taking part in a 366 project, so I am thinking my Fabia mk3 may be featured a few times in it, here's my first Fabia related image.... No Fabias were hurt in the production of this picture...... :D
  9. The Turanzas drive me mad, they are so harsh on the road, had the Conti's on my mk2 and they were a lot quieter but they wore quickly. Think I may change to Michelin PS3s when it's time to change the tyres....
  10. I debadged mine outside the showroom before driving home for the first time, they come off very easily
  11. Ripping up the Nurburgring for the first time!

  12. Heard from another forum member it's bumper off for the grille, not sure about the mirrors would of thought you could pop the glass out and then they are fastened from inside?
  13. Mine has 17s on with 215/40/17s Dads has 15s on with 185/60/15s rolling diameter change between the 2 is only .8mm (603.8mm for the 17s, 603mm for the 15s) I also don't think the rear suspension is as low as the front as the mk3 rear seems to sit a bit higher than the front, unless it hasn't bedded in yet as both still low mileage
  14. Instead of a made for instagram, this shows the difference in suspension a bit more
  15. autolock/unlock and audible beep on lock/unlock were the features I had the dealers code for me More is possible but i'd get it done via VCDS
  16. i'm going to the dealers when I have some free time to see if the monte carlo bits are readily available to order, seen the spoiler and grille on superskoda, wondering if the diffuser is going to be available soon
  17. oh bugger, think i'll just leave this as a pipe dream for the time being :(
  18. how easy is it to remove the grille? - I want to get mine done in black magic
  19. don't see this colour too often, not being a fan of green cars, but think the colour suits the mk3 well
  20. Another vote for the 1.2 TSI from me, I've had the CR engine before, the 1.6 TDi and whilst it was good the additional cost and the then higher fuel costs kind of made it pointless unless you do the extra mileage. The TSI isn't a compromise, as another poster said small engines are the way forward, there is plenty of torque and it's hard to believe it's a small capacity engine most of the time.
