Hi Collected the car from a garage a couple of weeks ago and have been driving round with this alert on. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

Hang something heavy on the bottom of the wheel... Not that I'd condone such actions.....just sayin'....

I'm looking to get this done in Northern Ireland. I'd also like to add the reversing camera, if anyone knows of anywhere over here? The front sensors are a must tbh.

Skoda tell me a change was made since my car was produced that allow you to lock and unlock from the app. It apparently cant br retrofitted. Can anyone shine some light on what this change was?

I don't know if i signed this, so i'll do it here anyway. 280 4x4 Sportline in the best colour a non-painted car will ever arrive in! Meteor Grey of course. And it is surprisingly a head turner, though many are those are people saying "that taxi has lost its light!"

I took the video out just to save scroll space, but that youtube channel (1001cars) has some good videos on it. The demonstration of SLA leads me to believe its not massively more useful than HBA, even though they recommend it as an add on. Their videos have however confirmed for me that i want to add the reversing camera and possibly the side sensors to detect oncoming cars/people/bikes when reversing out of a space. I could defo do with the front parking sensors and I slightly regret not having the park assist, mainly cos the geek in me just loves a bit of that! I also now know how my TJA works and in fact the car won't try to stick me in a ditch if i don't touch the wheel for a while (it'll just shout at me lots then stop in whatever lane i'm in). Anyway. Meteor Grey is a rarity round these parts because I've been asked a few times now is my car wrapped...

Yes, depending on if you have the correct hardware in the car. I have the A5 camera as my car came with High Beam Assist, so i was able to add Traffic Sign Recognition and Lane assist and it seems, traffic jam assist! Android auto allows me to use google maps or Waze for sat nav which is also handy for traffic conditions (and possibly more accurate than the built in Sat nav) I also use it to listen to Google play music or Amazon music and it reads out text and whatsapp messages while on the move.

https://www.ascoding.ch/en/activate-lane-assist/ followed the instructions here. I didn't have any of the "if available" settings and it seemed to take a while to appear in the menu system in the Columbus, though it was on the mfd.

Just gave it a quick test and the active lane guidance just steered me round a gradual curve on the road, before the lane assist told me to stop being a ***** and start steering again....

Done. However it feels a bit bit like "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". I'm sure it's great for doing big motorway miles...

What's the difference? Cos I just got active lane assist working. Update: the lane guidance is a working part of lane assist.

I have a colleague who used AA in his Astra with his Hauwei phone right up until a recent phone update which killed it. My Samsung S9+ works fantastically with it

is there a factory reset you can do on the HU?

I have to admit, the colour does throw me a bit. In these grey and murky days, my bonnet seems to just vanish - it seems to change tone to match the grey around it! still though - offset against the glossy black bits (and chrome free grill) it looks fantastic and different without be in your face.

I'd dread to think how much they'd be to retrofit
