  1. I'd say the Scout with the 1.6 tdi. I've got the older 1.9 tdi Scout and I love it! loads of space, nice cabin, good mpg (50-60), refined, sporty and pulls a small caravan easily.
  2. Hi All, Recently, my tailgate only unlocks via the key fob middle button. I've tried all sorts of locking, unlocking and even tried the key in the door? Any ideas?
  3. Hey alkip, thanks for the welcome! I'm lovin' the Roomster, such a perfect car for my lifestyle.
  4. Never thought I'd start modding my Roomster so quickly!!! Fitted some new carpets, chrome valve caps, roof bars and a K&N panel filter!! Also put a 1.9 TDi badge on the tailgate from an Octavia.
  5. I've decided not to take any chances and get it done at 70k miles. I can't find any details of the garage paperwork for the cambelt, so I'll get it done before the six month warranty runs out!!
  6. I've only just bought my Roomster (1.9tdi) and it says "toothed belt changed at 59000miles" in the service book. I take it the toothed belt is the timing belt and not the alternator belt? The car is on 66k miles now and worried that it actually needs doing.
  7. First thing was to fit new wiper blades!! Those aero-blades really wear in the middle.
  8. Hey peeps, Just bought a Roomster Scout, hence the "Dib Dib Dib' name!!! My first ever Skoda and really love it. Bought for camping, carping and getting bikes in the back.
