  1. I got myself one a week ago from B&Q Gillingham. The woman on till was astonished by why there was a security tag on a product worth only £18.. Managed to grab 5 and of course one for myself :p
  2. As sparkly said the stage 2 map would definitely get rid of the light, I loved the car without the map and can only imagine it would've been even more superb! I do miss having this exhaust in my life as it sounded so good
  3. Yes my EML did come on but didn't affect running in any way, I stuck a coupler on the end of my lambda sensor and that worked a treat
  4. I got the splitter from a company on ebay - just search for fabia vrs DTM splitter and it should come up.I'm based in North Shropshire mate, just north of Shrewsbury.
  5. Sorry I havent updated this thread yet. Splitter has sold. Still got my exhaust for sale
  6. It fits using 8 self tapping screws and I didn't bother using the bodywork glue. just held it in place with masking tape and screwed on
  7. I'm based near Whitchurch, North Shropshire Not sure on the splitter fitting an octavia, as far as I know it's only for the mk2 Fabia FL
  8. I have got only two parts left from my very missed Skoda Fabia vRS I have a full Milltek turbo back which was fitted for about 16 months and sounded epic in every way! In very good condition and i'm hoping the next owner will love it as much as I did! I'm looking for £600 ONO (dependant on collection/ delivery) Also, I have my DTM Front Splitter which IMO made the car look spot on from the front! In very good/ like new condition and comes with the self tapping screws and unused bodywork glue. I'm looking for £75 (dependant on collection/ delivery) Thank you for looking Any questions feel free to ask!
  9. I've FINALLY sold my fabia vrs!! Still think it was a bargain to the bloke who bought it! 17,500 miles. 2012 (62) immaculate condition and all for £8,500. I'll be sticking around on Brisky though as i've always found it a great place of knowledge and probably spent too many hours on here
  10. I used to do this on my vrs when I travelled down to Kent and back (230 miles each way). Good way to get the most out of my 16p off a litre at Tesco The last trip I did, the needle didn't move off the full for 139 miles and then proceeded to complete 535 miles before I had to fill up on 5 mile range
  11. Just an update - I am taking delivery of my new car tomorrow and I will have a weeks worth of insurance before i'm going to declare the fabia as SORN, because as much as I'd love to have two insured cars to drive, it's not happening. The car has now done 17,500 miles and still not used one drop of oil. Always run with 99RON V-Power / Tesco Momentum. Has recently done two 200+mile journeys both coming in at 49.8mpg It has been stripped of every mod/ part except its personalised registration plate and is as standard as it left the factory and so the standard price still stands at £8,750. I have put the Black Gigaro and Winter tyres on it as my summer tyres are running Parada Spec 2's and they aren't best known for wet grip. The car will be SORN from the 30th December. Any questions please get in touch.
  12. I ran my decat turbo back for 18 months with no oil issues whatsoever and even ran it on a standard engine.. not according to millteks stage 2 required but from the sounds of it I must've had one of the exhaust systems that didn't come out the factory which was made of chocolate? :peek:
  13. Mine never did and you have put more tape on than I had on mine, So I wouldn't worry! My last car used to suffer a bit with condensation but nothing the hairdryer couldn't sort out I think it's normal for them to flicker a little bit on warm up, just be weary of not using your lights to flash others because that will shorten the life of the lamp, that's if you haven't got a separate lamp for high beam.
  14. Nice! I taped my rubber covers as the grommets wouldn't fit into my 20mm hole i had to just put a few slices in... thankfully had no condensation! Hope you're happy with the result when it gets dark! You'll never go back
  15. Apologies for the picture c*ck up! Hope this helps and makes some sort of sense. The two leads from the ballast unit with crimped connectors connects directly into the headlamp connector block on the cars wiring.
  16. Give me two minutes and i'll lay it out on the table
  17. I don't know if these will be of any use? I;ve just returned my car to halogens and it took literally no more than 15 minutes, apart from the 25 minute journey to TPS to get some new rubber seals for the lamp unit.
