  1. Yes, that's exactly my condition
  2. Made same hypothesis, but it hard to enter the repair shop if nobody hears you. Hard to find time to go and no different shop in area. So I was wondering if anyone had same issue to ask something straight. I will try again one of these saturdays, even if holiday time is approaching for the dealer. Perhaps I will try with tune up fuel line cleaner, then go for spark plugs.
  3. But isn't it strange that it occurs only in higher gears? Tried pushing in 2-3rd but doesn't happen. The matter is that until the repairman doesn't see they refuses any change, and going in dark is expensive. Was wandering if anyone else had this issue. Ps engine has been produced on march 2012, so there shouldn't be any issue with chain etc.
  4. Car has been serviced from official network twice as recommended. Oil, filters, etc replaced each time. The repairman did not note the issue testing the car. At 1800 rpm you are traveling at 80 km/h in 5th gear, so not infrequently you exit a roundabout and simply push. But never noted such a behavior. It is fluid till 2000 rpm then sometimes vibrates like uneven road.
  5. Hi friends, my may '12 yeti has a strange behaviour in 5-6th gear pushin from 1.5 to 2k rpms. Occoasionally, there seems to be some strange vibrations, like misfiring or so. Doesn't always happen, and can not be noted on lower gears. Anybody doing the same? PS car, even if is 5 years old, has run only 14 K Kms.
  6. Many thanks for your answer. Was a bit worried about overheating cigarette plug and fry some electronic stuff
  7. Hi friends. Just bought a battery mantainer. Does anybody use it connected to the cigarette lighter plug? Any risk of electronic damages?
  8. Hi. Gettin anxous in sight of winter tyres fitting. Any other idea about the sill sealant stuff? Up to now, I have not find anything that can produce such a thick effect. I am getting convinced it is waxy.....but what is it? I am getting prepared to a visit to the car body repair, but I hate the fact the they minimize what they don't know. I love my yeti......
  9. Hi. Had the stuff sealed by the official dealer. Sadly lasted two days and at the edge of the sill cracked again. Some sort of sealant that peeled away. What the hell is made of? Inviato dal mio LG-D802 utilizzando Tapatalk
  10. I suspect it is some kind of pvc plastisol... Not sure it is waxy.
  11. Did you brush also under yeti?
  12. Thanks for your reply. Googling around I was wondering whether wax oil contains solvent that can damage the original plastic covering. I also wonder if there exists a paint that replicates consistency and thickness of the oem one. Can't find anything similar. Thickness is about a millimeter. And, above all, what's that made of?
  13. Yes, I read around but advice is needed. Just come back from the official repair shop, realized that where the have put the elevator forks sill paint (that gummy strange black) is peeling off. Any suggestion on a spray or brush paint to restore?. Please, I know that it is their fault, but I can not demonstrate anything and also wonder how they deal with volks or Audi they service usually.
  14. First of all.....Wow.....the guide is really impressive, should I decide to take care by myself that's fantastic. I can only imagine that the plastic clips have loosened a bit so the cover moves up and down (only if you go through). My plan was to wait till the service interval (the repair shop- an official dealer- is quite far from home or work).then go there with the replacement part and ask them to swap. Perhaps not cheaper but cheapest in terms of time waste and avoid quarelling. It's an hard time for customers here in Italy for minor issues. Dealers are always in hurry etc.
  15. Sorry for late answer, Isupposed the forum should notify of new content but it wasn't. Yes, the picture was that one on car parts, but it seems that cover....covers all the buttons at the same time, not each one by one, perhaps it is addressed to some versions without any real switches, but I have the tcs one and several singular dummy cover.
