  1. Interested in these if still available? My spiders need a refurb Can you courier?
  2. Ive seen quite a few threads about non working dash clocks. With mine, sometimes they work, other times they do not. I can get in the car and drive for 15 minutes before any gauges register. Another time I can drive for 30 minutes and they havent done anything. Any ideas where my first port of call should be to look at this? Thanks
  3. The drivers door unlocks fine, opens from tge outside fine, but wont open from the inside. When you pull the lever it feels like its not connected to anything. Any ideas before I pull it apart? Thanks
  4. Whereabouts down south? I'm really interested in these. cash sale too
  5. Would anybody know if the interior from a B5 passat saloon fit into a mk1 Octavia estate? Found a cheap passat sport interior. Cheers
  6. They are aftermarket Audi replicas. How low are you running the car Volvomeg?
  7. Will a set of 17" wheels fitted with 225/45/17 tyres cause rubbing issues on my lowered Octy estate? Thanks
  8. The remote central locking has stopped operating from they key of my Octy 1.8t. I think the battery has died in the key. I took the key to a key cutter, who said he could supply the battery, but not fit as the key may need to be recoded. Is this correct? I assumed I could take the key apart, replace the battery, then just carry on using the key. Its an old style key, not a flip out key
  9. Turns out the bulb holder on one side was the problem. Got hold of another from the scrap yard and all appears fine Thanks for all the suggestions
  10. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I am going to have a look tomorrow, so will update with my findings
  11. Ok guys, I have an issue with my 2000 1.8T estate. The brake lights come on with my headlights. If I do not have any lights on, all three brake lights work perfectly, but the side lights come on when I touch the brakes. When I switch the lights on, all three brake lights light up permanantly. Any ideas where to start diagnosis?
  12. The key is on the drivers seat! Unfortunately I don't have a spare key, stupid I know really. I think I may have to break the glass to get it. It autolocked as I shut the door!
  13. Hi guys. Ive done something Id never thought I would do. I have locked my keys in the car. I dont have access to a spare key, so am stuck as to how to get it. Any ideas how I can get it at all, or am I going to have to resort to breaking a window? The car is a 2000 mk1 estate
  14. Can you get to this nut without removing the strut from the car?
