  1. I had the same problem which turned out to be the thermostat.
  2. Yeah I thought they'd be whiter too tbh.
  3. Ha nice. I've just upgraded mine to night breakers all round. Seem a fair bit brighter but I swapped my headlights at the same time to polished ones as my others were a quite dull. Yet to test them on a proper dark country lane like. But reports from others seem good about them. Think amazon was the cheapest I found.
  4. Nice guide. Might be handy for me soon as I pulled my centre console up sharpish forgetting to unplug the lighter and now it won't work. If anyone has one spare let me know
  5. Pull harder?? Worst case just break it open. Replacement should be under £20.
  6. On page 4 mate. Converted them to manual control though to save messing with the runners.
  7. Pic in this thread any good? http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/374808-have-i-knackered-my-headlight-adjustment-screw/
  8. Ah fair enough. I've got an aftermarket head unit
  9. Try and get the proper lupo one. Quality will be loads better. Quite expensive on ebay but best to message people breaking lupos/scrappies etc see if they have one. And no, just pull harder.
  10. Maybe. Do a search for cup holders in the fabia 1 section and you'll have hours of available reading. Simple enough though, pop cubby hole out, then lupo cup holders in.
  11. Just do it and get a lupo din cup holder. They're the best available in my opinion. So long as you have a spare din. Should always have come with an armrest.
  12. http://m.screwfix.com/p/timco-classic-c-1022-steel-self-drilling-roofing-screws-5-5-x-25mm-pk100/45475 I used these and sikaflexed everything up. Looks a mess but does the job.
  13. Sure I read on here that someone has?? If I remember rightly, they were decent enough just not 100% sturdy. Sure you could always bolt it from underneath maybe.
  14. How about building yourself a false floor with carpet on top so it all looks oem?
  15. Deffo not a write off. I had similar damage when a neighbour reversed into my parked car, damaged the rear quarter same as yours (dent wasn't as deep but loads more scratches), they also damaged the rear door and both rear alloys (hit one and pushed the other into the curb). Insurance repair estimate was approx £800. Had a private quote of about £400 without the alloys.
  16. It does take a fair bit of tinkering doesn't it! I've finished my first bracket off, making another 3 to sell on with the surplus. Nearly done, just a couple more holes and smoothing on the smaller brackets needed then done. Don't think it's something I'll be making a habit of.
  17. Anything stuck in the rails? Coin, lighter, pen etc
  18. Have you checked the wiring at the door hinge? Often faults there due to it being a pinch point.
  19. Have them beside me in the van waiting for me to fit them WHT-001-976 washer 02M-301-211-B cover Think it was £8 summat from a skoda tech friend who got them from tps, so not sure if he got a discount or not.
  20. Where are you based mate (I'm on my phone so can't see)? And does it come with the feet yeah?
  21. No no only charged for the oil and filter, was a local vag specialist.
  22. I booked mine in for a full service last time, but they only changed the oil and filter. So I changed the other filters myself and as you lot say, piece of p. Will deffo be doing it again myself in the future, although I may still get the garage/someone other than me, to change the oil and filter to save me and the drive getting covered in it.
  23. I ordered some off their ebay site too. Fitting is easy enough. Was a bit undecided at first, but they are growing on me.
